Lovely & clean, bed was comfy. Plenty of parking & staff helpful. Would use again if I need a place to stay in the area.

Simple clean, and comfortable room which was perfect for us. A friendly hotel with lovely staff. Everybody we met from the reception, night staff and cleaning staff were lovely. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous friendly staff, lovely roast dinner on Sunday, very comfortable rooms and great value. Would definitely recommend if need to stay in the area. We were friends sharing a twin room for a club reunion at the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath a like away.

Nice to have the pub attached. Lovely coffees are made. Staff is very kind and helpful.

Did what it says on the tin! Clean, warm, good hot shower. Very soft mattress made it difficult for my disabled husband but that was personal preference.  Lovely staff

Location was great for us, the parking was free and sufficient, lots of places to eat within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again this hotel has everything you need so highly recommend it for a weekend or overnighter

Good hotel and lovely breakfast. Very close to the wedding venue. Shame there is no lift. Bed matress maybe needs replacing as it is not very comfortable with very noisy springs evertime you turned over.

Fantastic little hotel/pub. Would definitely recommend. Lovely staff!

Only stayed one night and didn't get there till late but had a lovely and friendly welcome. Had a few drinks in the bar and ordered pizza for dinner which they brought to our room on delivery. Sat on the bed and thought omg my back is going to kill but actually wasn't too bad. Soft and lumpy and felt the springs when sitting but laying down wasn't as uncomfortable. Room nice and big but bathroom smelt a bit of drains but not bad enough to cause an issue. Heater brilliant and warmed the room up in minutes. Lovely pub with different styles of seating and we sat in the library and just chilled. Will definitely be back when we ff to the NEC

Two nights at this Inn. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a little bit tired, but clean and tidy. The food was good honest pub fare. Breakfast was buffet style but we asked for fresh and this was duly delivered. On the second night the Inn had a Pub Quiz - we as The Visitors - can next to last. Thank you for a good night.

We thought that the Bournbrook provided good value for money - friendly staff, clean bedroom and bathroom, with everything needed for a one night stay.  We had a few issues with breakfast though - cold plates for the hot food, luke warm water for tea and there was vacuuming going on all the time we were eating.

We chose The Bournbrook Hotel due to it's proximity to the University of Birmingham, which we needed for a graduation ceremony.  The hotel was exceptionally clean, including the corridors, room and bathroom.  The pub part is lovely and serves food.  The staff were all friendly and helpful.  There is plenty of parking.  The price is exceptional for the accommodation.  There was plenty of tea and coffee available near the kettle.What could have been better:The room was cold because no heating was on and so, having arrived in late evening, it took a long time to heat up.  I think in winter,  the heating in the rooms shoikd at least be left on low if it is known that the room has been allocated.The mattress was a bit saggy and could have benefitted from being turned.That's it.  Great accommodation at a great price.  We eould definitely use again and recommend.

Good hotel in good location for the University

Great place for a one night stay in between activities in and around Birmingham. The rooms are clean and warm and have everything needed. One thing that would have been useful to know was that they do indeed serve breakfast on the weekend (Hotels.com says breakfast only on weekdays). Would have saved me time and desperatly trying to find a place open for breakfast early on a Sunday.

Very reasonably priced, nice staff. The heater takes a very long while to get going, and we would have liked another bin, a larger one, or to have it emptied every day. The only real problem though was a patch of mildew that seemed to be forming by one of the windows, most likely due to the handles to open/close them being utterly inaccessible unless you climb on one of the bedside tables, so there should really be a chair in the room, preferably with a small desk as there is space for it.Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere reasonably priced with very easy and quick access to Edgbaston Stadium, with a slightly longer trip on the bus to Birmingham central.

Needs redecorating, but otherwise great!

Looked relatively new regarding the accommodation as it was clean and well presented. Didn’t eat in the bar for an evening meal as the menu didn't appeal to me, but the breakfast was cooked fresh and plenty.It was good that breakfast started at 06.30 as most have a busy day ahead and cannot wait until 07.00 like most places around.

Cheap and comfortable place to stay.

I have stayed at the Bournbrook Inn a few times and every time it has been a comfortable stay. Very easy check in and check out, fab location for visiting friends at the University and surrounds.Some of the double beds are a bit pot luck, have always found the single beds comfier so maybe those mattresses are newer

I don't write reviews much, but such attention to detail needs to be rewarded. Check in easy, large car park, bathroom was so clean the taps shone, bed comfortable and linen crisp, and even the sachets were lined up!  Amazing service for the price and not disturbed by any noise from the pub below. No hestation in recomending and will come back.

Amnazing attention to detail.

It was an ideal place to stay for the weekend, when visiting family in Birmingham. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The opportunity to have breakfast if you wanted to was ideal as it gave me flexibility to choose. The food on the day I had breakfast was well cooked. The pub is on good bus routes into the city centre and I was able to walk easily to Bournville Green. I would definitely return.
