Very friendly and easy to find, simple clean and good for a one day stay.

Really good value for money. Car park to the rear which is free. Rooms clean and tidy. Numerous eating options just a very short walk including Weatherspoon's and Asda for breakfast. The Place adjoining does not open for breakfast until 9am. This is the second time we have stayed here when going to the NEC which is under 10 miles away

Excellent value for money. We found Redwings staff very helpful. The room was warm comfortable and bed very comfortable.  So quiet in spite of being close to the main road and our room was by the car park. Free parking as well. Plus direct access to restaurant where we had a great meal again excellent value . Would certainly stay there again if we were in the area

It was very clean and safe I had a room on the first level as I had newborn baby they changed my room without me asking which was very kind and thoughtful

Hotel was basic but that's all we needed. Bed was comfortable, I slept well. All in all it great for the price I paid. Can't grumble.

I stayed for a night after show set up at the NEC. It was only a short drive and easy to get to! Car park was not obvious but was behind the hotel and once i had found it was safe and easy to park! Room was clean and comfy. Nice bed and the tv worked! Just what i needed after an exhausting day! (Lots of places to eat right outside the door and supermarkets very close!)

The property is in the heart of Shirley and on the main high street. A brilliant location in a busy high street, yet amazingly quiet. Lovely spacious room.

Great stay at Redwings

To start the hotel carpark disabled were being abused and women. This was highlighted to the staff they didn’t seem to be interested with this we ask for a room close to the entrance also due to disability however we most of been given the one room the furthest away with no lift for the size of this hotel

It was ok if your not disabled

Stopped before, so I knew what I was getting. Guy on arrival wasn’t really that attentive, but the lady on departure was spot on.Only downside was the smell of someone smoking weed on our floor, it’s horrible.Upside, was free parking.Plus also attached to a restaurant if you want food.Decor is of a used to be Travelodge or premier inn.Prime location for shops and restaurants as it’s snack in the middle of it all.

Weekend visiting family. Hotel easy to find and check in was quick and easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable although bathroom looked tired and in need of a spruce up and some fresh skirting boards fitted. Has access to the adjoining pub through hotel and easy access to Stratford road shops bars and restaurants. Free parking in car park behind hotel. £112 for 2 nights was a fair price, we would stay here again.

Weekend visit.

The reception staff and personnel were excellent and so friendly.
Would highly recommend this location, the rooms were clean well maintained and warm.
The staff made our stay so pleasant we will definitely be using this hotel in the future, having stayed at more expensive hotels this Premier hotel is so much nicer.

Excellent hotel for families or business travel.

My friend and I stayed at this Premier Inn from 17th to 20th August in order to attend a show at the NEC.  From checking in, to checking out we had the most fabulous few days and have to say how impressed we both were with this hotel. Our receptionist, Laura, was outstanding.  Our room was far too hot even with a fan plugged in, so Laura found us another one we could borrow to help. It most certainly did. The room was clean and comfortable and good value in our opinion. Laura is a credit to the team at this Premier Inn and we will definitely book here again. Well done Laura. X

Festival of Quilts Weekend

In all of the Premier Inns I have stayed at, the staff (actually the TEAM) at this one are without doubt the best. The interaction in the Beefeater (attached) between the team and customers is warming, the check in lady (I don’t know her name but I checked in early at 13:25 on Thursday 9th June 2022) was just so nice and helpful. The bar staff great and my waitress Becky and the Manageress Emma just superb.

Spent a couple of nights in July, great location just off the M42 with easy access to central Birmingham & Cadburys World. You need a car.

Check-in was quick and efficient, staff very friendly and helpful.

Room was comfortable and clean, it was a warm weekend and the reason we have not given 5 stars is that the property is older then the Premier Inn's we normally stay in with no air con.  To be fair they had provided a fan, however it was still very warm even with the window open.

Large free car park with plenty of space, despite a big pothole.

We had breakfast at the Beefeater next door, which was great.
