I have to say this was a lovely place to stay and dog friendly, is it dated? Yes, but once you get over that its great value for money. The hotel is a good location and was clean and tidy and the service is excellent. You also get breakfast which is cooked to order and as good as you’ll get in a 5 star hotel. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return too! Well done guys and thanks for having us.

I recently stayed for four nights with my elderly parents. The location was perfect, with the harbour, restaurants, beaches and shops all within a short walking distance. The home cooked full English breakfast was absolutely lovely as were the staff in the kitchen and dining room. The owner Nick was the perfect host. He was very welcoming and made our stay extremely enjoyable. We are looking forward to returning later in the year. I would highly recommend staying at The Osborne Hotel.

We spent a long enjoyable weekend at The Osborne hotel. It's in a great location and we received fantastic service from all the staff. 

Nick and team were so friendly and welcoming that when we had a late night transport issue Nick was on hand to save us from being stranded. Going above and beyond.

Just back from another long weekend clay shooting as a small group in Ilfracombe staying at the Osborne. Nick and the team are brilliant - I doubt you will find a more friendly or welcoming hotel.

The full english breakfast is excellent and the value for money fantastic. Highly recommend.

Helen and I originally booked a two night stay as our Staycation was to involved traveling around Somerset ,Devon and Cornwall staying a few days in different places.We received such a warm welcome and superb all round service from Nick,Stuart,Sue,Julie,Fen ,the dining room staff and housekeepers that we eventually ended up extended our stay to 11 wonderful days.Everybody at the Osborne went out of their way to help and advise us on anything we needed or requested including places to go,eating out, walks,surfing, fishing trips,Golf,shooting etc etc.It is now our 'go to' hotel for the North coast of Devon,Somerset and Cornwall.Nothing was too much trouble.Nick and the teams helpfulness to all guests was incredible.Can't wait for our return visit.Thank you to all at the Osborne for making a holiday in difficult times one of the best we've ever had.

Excellent from start to finish  breakfast was lovely and nick and Stuart the hotel owners were brilliant even gave us private parking which was really appreciated we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we be back with mother in law in tow thanks again

Helped us (a family of 2 adults and 2 children) in a late evening crisis after being let down by another establishment. Couldn't do enough for us, so friendly and made our stay brilliant. Can't thank Nick and the team enough and wouldn't hesitate to book here in the future.

Just come back from a weekend with a group of divers, and stayed at the Osbourne Hotel.  I cant thank Nick enough for his hospitality.  From the moment we checked in he could not have been more helpful.  Great sense of humour and it really made the stay.  You would not get this from a chain hotel.

Dog friendly too if you want to bring your doggie

Just returned from a week at this hotel. Once again they have excelled themselves! The staff are very friendly and go over and above to make your stay enjoyable.  I had room 10, a very nice room, clean and comfortable with a lovely walk in shower and a big flat screen tv.  Not that you need it as the evening entertainment is superb! A great musician (Alan) the local male voice choir and Nicks Karaoke (Osbourne style) . The food was very good, local produce, fresh and cooked to perfection. Would recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable experience in Illfracombe. 

This is quite an old hotel but really clean, comfortable and cheerful. We had a family room at the front and it was nicely decorated and newish furniture. The food was all good and the staff friendly and helpful.Evening entertainment was really good and the group that was on one night hilarious
