My husband and I travelled to Oxford for at break to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary. I booked the Voco for us and I am so pleased I did. As soon as I made contact with Catia to book by email, I knew we were in for a lovely stay. From the moment we checked in, we were looked after very well. Bella checked us in and she was outstanding throughout our stay. Our room had been upgraded, decorated and prosecco and chocolates with a note from Catia awaited us. Our room was big and bright with a beautiful balcony overlooking the walled garden. The shower was fab! And the toiletries were lovely as well. The room had a fridge- bonus! We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the gentlemen in charge there- impeccable service along with his team. We were given Prosecco as we sat down and congratulated. Dinner was delicious as was the wine we ordered. I had asked for some more tea as we went to dinner and when we got back to our room, we had more tea and milk, an anniversary card and drinks vouchers waiting for us. We were very touched at all the small things. It really was unexpected. The breakfast offering was great- lots to cater for everybody. Super fresh! And delicious. We were sad to leave to be honest! We walked around the grounds after and the rest of the hotel so we could appreciate it and so I could take photos and videos to share with my clients. It’s a beautiful place and the service is just as beautiful too. We came back and I messaged about the hotel in my travel colleague chats and have already started to share it with my clients. I am so pleased we came and we will be back.
