3 reviewsWe stayed at chalet Lea at the beginning of March and hired the chalet for our sole use. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped, particularly as one of the group was a non-skier and spent more time in the chalet than the rest of the group. The bedrooms are a good size and the bathrooms have a great power shower, sauna was excellent and just what was needed after a days skiing. Only slight negative was that the bedrooms were a little cold and the pillows were awful, downstairs did warm up when the under floor heating was switched on. There are flat screen tv's in every room but are of no use as there are no English channels at all. There is a dvd player but no stash of dvd's or left over books so we didn't use this either. This was disappointing as the brochure highlighted the use of tv etc. There is however free wi-fi which always worked and was good to be connected to the world! I would stay at Lea again, its a short walk to the village or if you don't want to walk the bus is only a couple of minutes and is included in your lift pass. The lounge has a great view of Zermatt and the mountains, with sliding doors out on to the balcony. Zermatt continues to be one of the best ski resorts, with fantastic mountain restaurants and bars in the village with lots of atmosphere. Can't wait to return!
