The hotel is situated in a quaint, little ski town, with amazing views. Egon, the owner was kind enough to wait almost two hours past the checkin time, to welcome us, to a great little apartment with a terrace and outstanding views. The service is very friendly, and the place is clean, and everything works with swiss efficiency. The decor is austere but functional. I recommend getting there by car, there is a small ski area just in a five minute walk, and we actually got a great deal at El Dorado, the owner's sister ski shop, for ski clothing and ski gear rental. Saas Fee has great skiing, and Zermatt is only a 40 min drive, and this hotel and location offers superb value.
