The nicest and attentive lady we have been hosted by. We stayed in a room that had access to a kitchen, the fridge is so nice to have when it's hot and luckily the wall fan assured we slept well. Didn't even hear much of the traffic from the main street as it's tucked away up a lane. Did I mention the cutest resident Labrador dog!

An amazing home stay. Excellent value for money. Big room with comfortable bed. Lovely big breakfast cooked by grandma. A gorgeous family that make you feel so welcome! Would recommend to do the cooking class at Ishans sisters house. Short walk to beach and shops. Stay here if visiting Mirissa!! 

We stayed here for 3 nights. Room was small but very clean. Location great..only 15min walk to beach or several nice restaurants. What made this place so special was the family who own and run it! Sonu, Kusum and Ishan are just so friendly & helpful. We loved our evening chats on the way out!! Grandmas breakfasts & cooking delicious..best Dahl in Sri Lanka!! Dont hesitate to book this homestay if you want a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. Thank you to the family for giving us such special memories!!

We booked three nights and soon we decided to stay longer. 
The guesthouse is small and familiar. The rooms are nice and clean. To the next restaurant it's a 2 minute walk and the beach isn't far away, just about 5-10 minutes. 
The best of all is the family living there. We didn't meet many people like them. Absolutely lovely! 
Sonu made us some great henna and grandma cooked for and with us. We loved every second with this family.
If you come to Mirissa there is no better place to stay.

we came here for 3 nights..and we had a great welcome The guest house  is located 60 meters away from the main road..and it is  (about 10 minutes from the beach on foot)..they always care about you like a family member...also our breakfast was so delicious ...and also...we cooked rice and curry together...singing in the evening with sonya s small family .....that all makes feel so happy about them

We were heading colombo from yala and suddenly decided to stay over in mirissa. Then we quickly searched up online for a place and aloha guest came up. We were bit reluctant to book it at the time as it didn't have any reviews then . took the risk and  glad I did.we were warmly welcomed by the family that  runs the place.great start . then they offered us  coffee which we kindly denied as we have had our dinner just before . then we were quickly shown to our room.it was a newly renovated spacious room with a quite large comfy poster bed.it was clean and tidy en suite bathroom was clean too . didn't have many amenities but for the price you can't complain. We booked it with breakfast and it was served to a table just out side the room in the corridor,on time we asked it to be served on the following morning.the family that run the place are all very polite and helpful . all in all it was a wonderful experience and I'd definitely stay there  if I ever visit the town again.
