Walking distance to a lot of interesting things including markets, the museum, independence square. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Common area is very nice and a great space to meet people if you are travelling solo. 

The staff was very friendly and super helpull :) the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable :) i was in die ladys room and met nice ladys there :) the location is very good, a lot of nice Restaurants, Shopping mal, supermarket and a park- all in Walking distance

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place more, so clean, amazing common area downstairs that plays the best music and has all the information you need about Colombo. They provided the best services, free filtered water, showers were amazing and staff were so helpful with recommendations on restaurants and places to go. Would 100% go back. Only fault is the WiFi doesn’t really work in the dorms. Will definitely be back though.

I absolutely loved the vibe of this hostel the team there were really helpful when needed which was a bonus as it was my first time solo traveling!

Definitely recommended for any travelers who are looking for a vibrant atmosphere and an easy fun way to meet new people!

I quite got there by mistake but it was such a beautiful mistake. As soon as I got there I already met amazing people with whom later on we would go to explore Colombo. 
The next day really felt like being at home with family. Met such amazing people, the staff there is so helpful and fun. Crazy music playing all day, loads of activities to offer and super well positioned. Not in the busy centre of colombo but close from it. If you are a walker it will take you no more than 1h to reach downtown by your own feet. 

If I had to say something "negative" it would be that it was just a bit above my budget, but that's absolutely my thing, not theirs. It is worth it. 
Clean and fresh dorms. Clean and fresh showers and toilets. Clean and fresh kitchen, fridge and coffee and tea and kombucha. 

I really highly recommend it. It was an amazing landing in the country.

Really nice hostel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There’s some good local and cheap places to eat nearby. It’s a little far outside of the main city area where the fort and pettah is, maybe 1 hour walking or a tuk tuk will be 15-20 mins. Very clean. There is a kitchen you can use. Nice chill out area.

Location of the hostel is awesome. Restaurants are not very near but in walking distance. Also you got Ubereats and cheap Tuk Tuk so it will be not a problem. If you want great location to move around Colombo highly recommended. No much party vibes.

Wouldnt recommend spending too much time in columbo city, but this is the place to stay. staff is awesome, bunks are clean and comfy. tons of social activities and the staff totally hooked up the rest of my trip in sri lanka. great vibes and people. had a social vibe without being ridiculously loud. would stay again 10/10

As it's in Colombo, this was our first stop and intro to the country, and it was a good one! We were a couple on honeymoon but picked a hostel as we only needed a place for a night. A few reviews have mentioned it's overpriced but I disagree - I think it's really good value for money. The room we had was big, bathroom was very decent (with an actual bathtub and shower rather than a wetroom), we had air con. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They didn't offer breakfast, which I thought was a shame - even just some bread and a toaster would have done the trick. However we were recommended a place just a 10 minute walk away, which was a bit pricey but very good food, and just what we needed before a 4 hour bus ride to Dambulla. I'd happily stay here again.

Great hostel in a lovely and quiet part of Colombo. The decor is gorgeous, it's super-clean and has a great common area. I stayed in the female dorm, which was huge, had very comfy beds and a great ensuite bathroom but no windows. Staff were all so helpful and lovely. The whole place had a great atmosphere. 
Only down points were the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, is very slow and you have to keep using coupons instead of just connecting once. It was great that they refilled water bottles but at LKR100 each time (no matter the size of the water bottle), it was actually more expensive than buying bottled water. I was happy to pay it but I'm sure it put others off. It would be great to see them change this to encourage less use of single-use plastic. 
It's definitely stay here again.

Great hostel, lovely staff

Excellent location, very clean, and awesome  friendly staff.  Wifi is not available in the rooms it is available on the first floor and i found it not to be that strong at times. In the dorms that could be a good thing due to others in the room using mobiles,computers, and etc. inconsiderately at times. But I had a private room and found this to be inconvenient.

Let me just say that Lance and Gihan were just amazing during my stay. They were so friendly and I learn so much about Sri Lanka from them at the same time. They have great recommendations for food  and things. (New Banana Leaves Restaurant is sooo gooood don't miss it) It was just lovely when you know the staff are friendly and that gives the place a great vibe. Bonding travellers together. 
The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable. And most importantly the playlist in the lobby is awesome! 

Amazing

This hostel is super clean and a good place to come to after or before a long flight - this is why most people were there, definitely not a huge social atmosphere. Really good food from the cafe there. A pretty good location, tuk tuks are very cheap in Colombo so you can get anywhere quick! Didn’t highly rate Colombo as a city itself but the hostel was great!

Great hostel to go into after a long flight! We stayed in the 6 bed female dorm and had no issues. The cafe that they had the best food. The staff were quiet and didn’t interact with the guests much and most guests just kept to themselves would have been good to have a few more activities on offer. Other than that a 5/5 stay! 

Good place to stop over before seeing the rest of what the country has to offer and great food too!
