30 reviewsI stayed for 2 weeks as a medical elective student and can only describe the place by the old cliche - a home away from home. My room was set in beautiful tropical gardens full of birds, with monkeys visiting every day. The daily breakfast was excellent and the pool was clean and cool and a complete godsend after a sweaty day at the hospital or out and about in Galle. Anne and her family were the best bit though - could not have been more genuinely welcoming and helpful, with everything from fresh towels to train timetable advice. Highly recommended, especially for medical students as Karapitiya Hospital is within easy walking distance.
