Our family stayed 1 night in this wonderful eco friendly resort, the cabins are tiny but cozy, the food is the best we had in this hotel, it was very generous buffet meals. Very close to Mattala International Airport, in fact the hotel arrange following excursions ** Mattala Airport ** Lunugam Vehera National Park by Jeeps ** Lunugam Vehera Dam and Tank The Lunugam Vehera national park is far better than the Yala, we saw more elephants than in Yala, also plenty of monkey, peacocks, wild-boar, crocodiles, eagles, water buffalo, spot deer etc. The Animals are not used to human so they go keep a safe distant and often tries to run away. Some elephant started charging at us. Overall a great experience, do not expect the luxury but you will be content of what you get.
