The Plains Bungalow

The Plains Green is set on a hill with a vista of stunning , breath-taking natural beauty . The views from the property and the rooms offer a picturesque , tranquil view of distant mountains including Kirigalpoththa and Adam’s Peak on a clear day. The sky was clear and blue during our visit . Just below the property, is a patch of jungle and the beautifully maintained farm cultivated with veggies and strawberries. The room are tastefully decorated and comprise of modern architecture mixed with a unique mixture of recycled materials. Every bedroom has views across the hills and supplied with all comforts including thermal blankets. The rooms were spacious , spotlessly clean. Restaurant offers limited a la Carte choices, but the food was very tasty, with the use of ingredients sourced from their own garden. The jams they serve as they are their own and taste great. The staff comprising Resident Manager Mr Nishantha , Assistants Elango and Pushpa Selvam were very attentive ,professional and offered top notch service.
