Really nice colonial building near the temple of the tooth of Buddha.
Great buffet for dinner, a bit expensive but eat all that you can. Very good Dahl and other curries.
Great choice of desserts.
Service was quite good although the waiters were ready to close the place.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this hotel. You could not fault the location which is right next to the Lake and Temple and the shopping area. It is a grand colonial hotel which in it,s day would have been amazing. What let it down was the bathroom. Compared to the size of the room( it was huge we had 3 rooms) the bathroom was tiny. The first night the water was only lukewarm and the shower hardly let out any water. Apart from that, the staff were friendly especially in the restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast there for the 3 nights. It was a lovely setting with French doors looking out on the Lake. Though it was noisy from the traffic it added to the charm watching the passer byes. The food  was excellent. So I would recommend staying here as it is clean and quaint if you can handle the bathroom. It also had a great pool that was deep, clean and the perfect temperature. 

I was here with friends. The Hotel Situeted in middle of the City. Its Front of the Tooth Temple. The Hotel is verry clean and they offer standerd service.Staff are helpfull.They have antic furniture.But the Rooms preice is high. If you want stay in the City and colse to the temple, this is my reccomendation.

Good place good location nice to stay beautiful ambiance

Channels on Television r less door latches are also small and not that strong 

Other wise all good  good restaurant   Enjoyable swimming pop shops bakery all good 

Good place for a holiday  

Most enjoyable is the elevator the olden days type loved it looks awesome to c and travel
