I admire the Excellent Service, delicious food, comfortable rooms and the affordable price of Vanna Resort. I recommend Vanna resort to anyone who wants to enjoy the joys of Habarana and the surrounding. It offers you much more than you pay for.

Vanna resort Habarana

At first, the hotel worked very well. The garden was beautiful and the reception was friendly. The restaurant is also optically beautiful. Then came the rooms, which have come more than in the years. There is no color and black mold everywhere. The bathroom is a class of its own. The bathroom is very low, the toilet seat is totally disgusting and defective. As for the rooms, it's an absolute disaster. The pool is to be used with caution. There are many fuses missing and the tiles are very good there and there is a risk of injury. This our guide and I had to determine on our own body. Unfortunately there were no bedsets for them.

Good location, but the rooms are bad.

We stayed two nights. Nice pool.  Foods were delicious. Friendly staff. Thanks for your hospitality. It's near a beautiful lake which was full of water lilies. It's not far away from Habarana city. Wonderful hotel.

Super service

My family and I had an awesome time at this villa. The pool was centrally located which made it convenient for our family to spend time together, and the food provided was exceptional. We hope to be back again.

Great stay

We spent 4 wonderful days at the Vaana Resort. Our room was both comfortable and giving the impression of being in the middle of nature. We loved the bathroom with the outdoor shower. There are squirrels, monkeys and there is even an elephant living at the hotel! There is a very calming atmosphere created by the singing of tropical birds. Sylvia the manager of the hotel was at the small care sites with us. Very good local breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel was very responsive to our messages before our arrival and arranged a transfer from our previous small hotel and our hotel as well as tours of the Polonnaruwa and cultural parks. The hotel is located at the foot of the Minaruwa River every five minutes.

Best place to family. Friendly staff. Good service.meals also perfect. Love this place.have boat ride. Free safari. Bbq night .swimming pool . Elephant ride. So many events. Prices also satisfied. Need to go one again

Family dayout

We had initially booked Athreya Ashram Hotel (Nov 19th 2021) and they told they have a large group coming on the same day, whether we are ok to shift to their other hotel which is Vaana resort. We told ok. We had 4 people and booked a family room. Some of the staff members are friendly and had a good welcome. The taste of the food was ok.
When we went to the room it had only 2 water bottles, on request they provided another 2. There were 2 towels only and when I requested they told they give 2 towels only, after explaining they agreed to give one towel more, but never gave. We ordered a snack at night which is fried chicken and they told they have 500g or 1kg only and we took a 500g for LKR 1250/= It did not have at least 250g and it too was mostly bones. They served fruit salad as dessert for dinner in cups which are the most smallest cups ever. Bathroom, specially the commode was not maintained, had stains. We brought a Harpic and a toilet brush and cleaned it. Hotel staff did not wear face masks. Finally they had charged us 10% service charge which was never mentioned when giving their rates, for a very bad service they provided. I'm not sure whether this the nature of them or due to reduced staff during pandemic days. Overall very bad experience.

Had a very bad experience

This nature focused resort is situated just 500m off the habarana junction. Staff are so friendly with the star class service and there is no "no" on any request. Lovely room and food is the best part of all you will never feel enough and taste will sure make you visit again. If you are at Habarana give it a try and sure you wont regret.

A home out of home

This resort was a big surprise for us. We didn't expect much, because it's a bit hidden and quiet, but the two nights we spent there were really great. The room was rustic but it was clean and neat. The pool was always clean and very refreshing after a long day. The food was amazing and homemade. We tried authentic Srí Lankan breakfast and dinner. They arranged us a jeep safari and an ayurvedic treatment. Both of them were great and unique experience. The stuff is really kind and they always made sure we don't need anything. We want to mention Selvi and her brother because of their caring and help. Summary: nice place, excellent service for a really good price.

Great place with very kind staff

Went to this resort with a bunch of my friends. Had a very nice time at the resort. 
The staff is really friendly, the rooms were clean. and the poll was clean and neat. 
Can't complain about the $$ we spent.
