Monica and her parents are such lovely hosts who do everything to make you happy. The beach villa, the rooms, and most of all the pool are great! Breakfast is lovely and served on a nice terrace. And the beach right in front of the property with nice restaurants in walking distance. What else could you wish for!

Very good place right on the beach and still very quiet. The host Sagarika does everything for your stay to be perfect. The prices for that quality are really good. We definately wanna come back. Especially when they have offers like that. The top floor luxury appartment we stay was spacious and with marvelous view from the roof. From May to October they costs just  €800 per month

€500 per month. Electricity and wifi separate. Enjoy - Sri Lanka is still the best to have long easy and cheap vacations :)

Wonderful and very small hotel for a couple nights. Very close to beach. This hotel is managed by very friendly family :) Monica and her parents are great hosts and really know how to make their guests feel at home. 

We stayed in the budget room which is totally fine for the affordable price we paid.

Very caring hotel owner. Comfortable rest. Beautiful apartments. 10 minutes walk to the beach, sheltered by a reef. 10 nights of comfort. Beautiful garden. Chipmunks. Birds singing. Two bedrooms and a dining room. Very convenient location

Nice small family run hotel directly at the beach. Very friendly owners, restaurants in walking distance, great breakfast and lovely dogs. They organize everything for you. If you want to support the locals and meet the nicest people this is your place to stay!

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was an amazing holiday. I’ve been to Sri Lanka >15 times over the last 20years so have stayed in a lot of places on the island and this is by far my favourite, I spotted the beautiful house and grounds on a previous trip and knew it was going to be a great place. I’ll try and organise my comments:
1. Location: 60 seconds to the beach from the room we stayed in (15) walking across the beautiful gardens. The beach here is lovely and much calmer to swim in than bentota. You can also walk 10 minutes to the next beach which has a reef so is protected from the ways and no traffic access so peaceful. There’s a few beach restaurants to keep you occupied for a 2 week trip but it’s very easy to also get a five minute tuk tuk to bentota/aluthgama if you fancy dinner on the river or to go to one of the local restaurants. The area is only 1.5hrs from the airport with the new motorway and a great place to base yourself for travelling round the island 
2. Room (15): very clean, bed very comfortable (deep mattress, large bed), good AC/fan and new mosquito net. Full size fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We had our own loungers outside and walked 10 steps from the room to the pool. Very quiet (but we were the only ones there).
3. Staff: Monika is just a fantastic host and it feels like you’re staying with a friend. She could not do enough for us before/during our trip. She clearly loves what she does and will do everything in her power to make you have a good holiday. Her family and rest of staff are also lovely. 
4. Food: we requested a Sri Lankan breakfast which means we had whatever the family were having that day (perfect for us!) so be aware if you ask for this then you won’t have a menu. Every single thing we had was lovely - from hoppers to egg curry to the best seeni sambal I’ve ever had (we even got given some to take home). Absolutely delicious. 
5. Covid precautions: we felt incredibly safe here. It’s a small hotel with huge grounds so there’s plenty of space. Cleaning/serving/masks and cleanliness was the number one priority. Monika can arrange pre departure PCR tests (only $40 in Sri Lanka) if required. 
6. Grounds - just beautiful. Huge pool of which we had to ourselves the whole time. Kingfishers and lots of small beautiful birds living close to you. The garden is lit up by fire flys when you walk through it at night. 

I can’t recommend this place enough. It was a real sanctuary after a long time without a holiday. If your hesitant about going away you will feel 100% safe and relaxed here. I also felt like I was in beautiful Sri Lanka and not a big concrete hotel. Don’t miss out!

Lovely place , highly recommended , great food and location if your planning to spend some time at the beach, highly recommended of staff services with qulity and excellent. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely hotel with a perfect ambiance for relaxing.Very friendly and courteous staff and superb service.I experienced better staff service than most of the 5 star hotels I in Sri Lanka.Rooms were very comfortable and clean.Good variety in food and flavorful.Clean and beautiful beach. Awesome view of the sunset.

Stayed here for 5 night's great place we had a deluxe room very spacious,host sagarika was great very accommodating and friendly,very hands on serving breakfast in the morning on the terrace watching the wildlife,fabulous location virtually right on the beach will definitely return here sagarika, her family and staff made us feel  very comfortable certainly recommend this place if you want to enjoy sri Lanka and its hospitality 

We only intended to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 4 nights. Would have stayed longer but ran out of time. Sagarika(Monica) and her Mum were the kindest and most considerate hosts we have encountered in a long time of extensive foreign travel. The Hotel was an absolute delight. We knew as soon as we arrived we had found a little gem. Much much better than the so called 4 star hotel we had stayed in the night before our arrival. The inclusive breakfast was served on the terrace under the shade of a Mango tree where we watched all the different coloured birds up in the trees. The food itself was relatively simple and so so tasty. Absolutely loved breakfast. The pool was outside our room and the beach at the bottom of the garden. A few bars and restaurants littered the beach. What more do you need? Most guests were respectful  of the peace and tranquility the Sagarika offered and we met some lovely people from Sweden, Holland and Germany. We will definitely return with no hesitation. A super place to stay if you are looking for a chill.

Best Small Hotel **Ever***

Just spent a fortnight at this lovely hotel. Our first time to the island, made to feel so welcome by Monica. Apartment clean, spacious, beautiful setting, air conditioned, balcony great for viewing many birds and fruit bats. Monica organised us trips to reserve etc with great driver and tuk tuk Sam, great guy. Take aways even brought in. Great base for exploring and used train too. Pool immaculate, I swam regularly. Excellent value for money, will definitely return.

Just returned home from a lovely stay at this hotel. Located on a beautiful, calm and quiet beach. This hotel has a fabulous hostess, Monika, who makes you feel very welcome from start to finish. They serve a beautiful breakfast every morning and you see wildlife all around you while you eat it! Lovely pool and gardens. Would recommend staying here.

Peaceful hotel

Amazing service, if you desire anything they will find it for you at incredible prices. Beautiful quiet beach with lush gardens and lovely owners. Food was wonderful and every little whim was satisfied. It is really a little paradise with very comfortable clean rooms and several have kitchenettes. Such great value, I may move in here and never go home.
