Hotel Linaya/Hotel Gayli

We have been to hotel Linaya for one night stay and we are happy with quality of their service. We took family room that has 2 king size beds + 1 queen size bed and they all in good shape and comfortable too.

Hotel manager and staff are always happy to help us and very friendly. Thanks Hotel Linaya keep up your good work !!!

Stayed at the Linaya for a couple of days . Silva was an amazing host, spoke very well in English and was very helpful in guiding us. 
Both he and the owner helped us to organize a safari in Winupattu. A very enjoyable afternoon.
Breakfasts were great and service amazing..
 

Contra: No mosquito net and not hot water. The fan was only running on full power, being also noisy. The hotel is very nice, renovation almost finished. Beside of the manager, the staff doesn't speak very good English.

Pros: Amazing host, he helped us a lot with organising a wonderful guided tour (ask for Neel) and brought us himself for a tour in the area of Sigyra (of course we had to pay extra for that). We rent bikes and a scooter, he cooked dinner for us and offered beers. He even went to the train station very early in the morning for buying train tickets. 
Every morning he prepared an very good traditional breakfast for us, every morning different. 
The rooms are clean with enough space. Wifi worked good.
The staff, despite the language barrier, was very nice and smily. 

A very good deal for the price.

Best rooms and excellent service

Super nice host, amazing breakfast, rooms are ok and a lot of potential!

Friendliest of service...

This accomodation is cheap and it´s located on a quiet side street. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast was satisfactory. Local breakfast is available when requested. There is also the possibility to order curry for lunch or dinner. We ordered dinner twice there. Unfortunately one might have led to a bout of food poisoning. Further the place is still under development, so you may be unlucky to hear construction  noises. Finally, the staff was extremely friendly; a sense for customer needs would improve the experience drastically.

Sink system doesn't function well in bathrooms.
