What a beautiful location and facilities. Unfortunately we had only booked for a one night stay to break a long drive but wish we had been able to stay longer. Arrived late afternoon to a very warm welcome from Christine and Bernard who are charming hosts. Oh and we must not forget to mention Max the equally welcoming friendly dog who appears in every shaded spot and even came to see us when we woke in the morning and came to say adios when we left. The building has been renovated to a very high standard and the room we had with a pool view was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep. The room was very large with an equally well proportioned en suite bathroom with a lovely walk in rain shower. Breakfast was served on the outdoor patio or you could choose to eat inside. We chose to eat outside and as this faces West was beautifully cool away from the early morning sun. We could not fault anything from the welcoming hosts to the facilities or the excellent breakfast. Would love to stop again and explore the area which Christine and Bernard are so very passionate about.
