Hotel GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa

First time on Tossa and so glad we stayed here. First off I think some of the reviews are incredibly harsh for the past few weeks. Firstly the room we had was fine, spacious, large walk in shower bathroom. Lovely view over the rear mountains and villas(also got the late evening sun) Also cleaned everyday and the air con worked absolutely fine and kept our room at a nice cooler temperature. Bed was a I'd say a medium to firm but we all slept well all week. The catering is one of the assets of this hotel. The staff I thought were excellent, Samuel, Alba and the other waiting staff were always happy and chatty and they're the most efficient restaurant team of staff I've ever seen. The Show cooking team were excellent too, Elena was lovely and one morning greeted me with a little good morning dance! :) The food was varied and tasty and we found something every day. Nothing I tried I disliked. Delicious. The pool is no way too cold. I thought it was lovely, I spent more time in this pool than any other holiday recently. The sun loungers are ok, I spent more time on the large lounge beds by the life guard chair, they were great. The life guard duty was shared by 2 ladies. Both were ok, one is a little quiet an the other was more chatty. There are no balls or inflatables allowed in the pool btw. Evening entertainment was ok, we went out every evening but sometimes caught the last few minutes of the act. Overall we really enjoyed it here and I would stay here again 100% The resort is nice too. Our only disappointment was the sand on the beaches is very coarse and a bit too painful for bare feet.
