As a family of four, we felt very comfortable in the large finca and enjoyed the legendary view at breakfast on the terrace. Far from mass tourism, this paradise complex feels very homey and can be soul-babbling. Even in December, it's worth a trip and the climate is very pleasant. The hosts are very kind and helpful and open to all questions. We had a fireplace and it was very cozy in the evening. A washing machine was also available, which is what you sometimes need with children. Thank you very much!

Dreamy Scenes

We had seen photos but when we arrived we were equally impressed.It is a complex with several houses in a beautiful setting, a tropical garden with sea views and places to sit and chat.All the houses have a lot of privacy, with their own barbecue and a plethora of neat details inside, although the gold brooch puts the fireplace on it:-).We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Relax and peace in pure state.

It is a quiet area, away from tourism, with a beautiful view of the sea. With a rental car, however, El Tanque is quite central. The landlords Brigitte & Ernst are very kind and helpful. The property is very well maintained and clean. Our house conveys the flair of an old mansion with a large courtyard. We enjoyed our stay (18 days).

A place for the soul to roam

We had a lovely stay in Finca El Lance. If you are looking for a stay in the beautiful nature of Tenerife, away from the masses, this is the place to go. The apartment was very lovely and equipped with everything you need. The view and the tropical garden is amazing. Many thanks to Ernst and Brigitte for a wonderful and comfortable stay. We hope to come back here sometime!

Lovely apartment in the midst of nature and rural Tenerife

If you want to stay away from mass tourism, in fincas originally set up in the Canary Islands, Finca el Lance is the perfect place to do so. In the middle of eucalyptus trees, wild aloe vera, dragon trees and mulberry trees, the five fincas hide. Some of them have direct sea views. On the entire grounds, which looks like an oasis, there are several seats with breathtaking views and plenty of peace and nature.

Pure Recreation in the Midst of Nature

We thank Brigitte and Ernst for the warm welcome, the willingness to help, and the beautiful conversations. If you want to experience the island up close, then this finca is a very beautiful place to feel this originality. Yet everything is there to keep you warm, to prepare great food and to shower. Surrounded by a wonderful landscape, the sea overlooking you, the mighty, protective teas in your back and all the other loving details, this beautiful place invites you to come back. Originally, authentically, lovingly

We liked the Finca Miriam with sea view superbly. The bedroom is large with patio windows, very quiet, living room and kitchen go inwards. The facilities are superb! The location of the village of El Tanque is convenient to the surrounding hiking areas and offers affordable good restaurants with country cuisine, as well as pizzerias.

Super nice finca, loving landlord, top hiking area

The Finca´s are original and very cosy..you feel an old atmosphere of beeing back in time. With a beautiful botanic garden! And a spectaculair sea view!!! You get so easy relaxed. We love this Finca´s and vistit them already five times.The new owners are very kind and it all fits! Best place to be!

Such a lovely and pleasant place to be...I wish I never had to leave!

We spent a week in Dr Finca and fell in love with the old farmhouse! The individually furnished accommodation is lush and cozy, but also very comfortable, with everything you need and a well-equipped kitchen. There is also the open fireplace, where you can enjoy a glass of wine on cool nights. The location in the north of the island is perfect for hiking. The owners are very kind and helpful.

The dream port

When you are looking for the original Tenerife with its nature and villages and little tourists, Finca El Lance is the place to be.
A beautiful reconstructed old farm (Finca) consists of several houses where you can stay. A lot of nature around the Finca and maximum privacy in each of the houses. Each house has the facilities you require to have a pleasant holiday.
The Finca is located in El Tanque in the north-western part of Tenerife. El Tanque has several restaurants, a very good big supermarket and all other facilities like a petrol station, ATM's and pharmacy.
From El Tanque all places to visit are nearby: cloudforest to walk at 15 minutes drive, the sea at 10 minutes, etc.
The volcano Teide can be seen from your own terrace as well as the sea.
Brigitte and Ernst will make you stay enjoyable and can advise you on all practical issues. They speak German, Italian, Dutch, English and Spanish.
We enjoyed two very pleasant weeks at the Finca, made a trip each day and had lunch in one of the many restaurants around.
