Slick professional site with a very responsive reception team. Superb showering facilities. Lovely swimming pool. Pitches adequate but need to tread with care as pea shingle slippy near sloping kerb. Mercadona supermarket just over the road excellent and prices low compared with UK. Located close to lovely beach with wide promenade. Great safe cycling from the site. We visited in September when the local fiesta took place which lasted 10 days - a bit noisy but this didn’t bother us. At Bonterra we encountered a lot of long stay UK visitors who know each other and congregate in groups chatting, laughing, drinking and generally having a good time into the evening. It is difficult to keep a low profile with a UK number plate as they are very friendly to fellow citizens abroad. If this is not your style, perhaps take your time selecting your pitch.
