B&B Le Stanze del Belriguardo

Great place! Outstanding price for this nice B&B for what you get. It is less then 15 min drive from Ferrara. It is pretty good location for exploring various places in Emilia-Romagno and even some of Veneto: you can reach Padua, Ferrara, Ravenna, Bologna and more within an hour drive or less. And after long day of exploring places, it is awesome to enjoy Italian country side with the nice outside patio. Giorgo was very welcoming. He allowed us to leave our bags early so we could enjoy visiting Ferrara without dragging suitcases with us, and even brought all our bags to the 2nd floor where all rooms were located. Breakfast was very nice and he was very flexible with the breakfast time. There were 5 of us, so we booked both rooms. One room “Saints” is for two people – has huge king size bed, small hallway and large totally new bathroom. Second room “Mincini” is probably for 3 people and a baby if needed. It has a room for one person (single bed), then master bedroom for two people, and a small room with the bassinet and new bathroom. In order to get to bathroom, you need to walk through master bedroom which may not always be best option, depending on traveling company. It was great location with relaxing country side. It was great to sit outside with a bottle of Italian wine to unwind after long sightseeing days. Certainly great place to stay if you have a car. If we ever going to explore that area again, I am definitely booking Giorgio’s place again!
