Hotel Da Fine

Chosen Hotel Da Fine for a weekend in mid-September, based on the good reviews on TA. The expectation did not go disappointed. The room that we were allocated was in the main building, small, but functional and spotless. The breakfast (included) is adequate for a two-star hotel (there isn't the salty side, on request some slices of cheese and ham are provided). The follwing plus are particularly valuable: - at the reception there's huge amount of brochures on attractions and activities available on Elba island: a common practice (for example) in Britain, but not as widespread in Italy. - In a facility at the annex, walking on the path that leads to the beach (less than 150 m.) the customers can pick up (and return) umbrella and sun loungers for the beach itself. - you can have meals in eaterie "Osteria del nonno" a few steps from the hotel, with the 10% discount. - 70 m. away from the hotel there is a reserved parking. Price for two nights in a double room: 140 euro. In essence, we loved this hotel for a weekend and we can imagine that it's appreciable even for longer periods.
