TwoB Bed and Breakfast in Rome

We stayed here June 3. It's a short (heavy-traffic) walk to the Via Appia Antica, and the Santa Domitilla catacombs, which is the reason we chose it. The B&B is an apartment in a complex, which has a nice, peaceful garden setting that could be fantastic with a little TLC by the complex owners. The room is clean, comfortable, and modern with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is also modern. Our room had a nice terrace, which needed to be cleaned and the plants changed or taken care of. Breakfast was a decent croissant from a nearby bar, an automatic espresso machine, and packaged snacks. It took a few tries to get the espresso machine to work, but I figured it out. I've never stayed in an AirB&B (we always use B&B's), but I always imagined they would be like this - a functional, clean apartment at a good price, on your own with someone to call in an emergency, but not like someone inviting you into their home or treating you as a guest. So, as traditional B&B's go, I'd rate it low, but as a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay near the catacombs/Appian Way, I'd stay there again.
