We stayed at Residence Goethe for 5 nights last week for a wedding. We booked a two bed lake view apartment. The accommodation was easy to find using the phone sat nav, and signposted from the main road. Marco & his family were welcoming and friendly, he explained the accommodation and local area to us, and provided some maps. The whole block and our apartment was modern, large and clean, perfect base for us to explore from, the views are absolutely stunning! We had a lovely garden terrace. The pool and area was clean though it was probably a little early in the year for it to be warm enough, but our daughter enjoyed paddling and she played in the downstairs playroom a couple of times too which was really handy on the couple of days it rained. The apartment kitchen was well equipped - there wasn't an oven but we ate out most of the time anyway (so many amazing restaurants!) and had a microwave, toaster, dishwasher & fridge freezer which was plenty for breakfasts. There were lots of clean towels & bedding, free wifi, a lift to all floors which was great with suitcases, shopping etc. The car park was close by and secure. Malcesine town is about 1.5km away and we were able to walk a few mins down the hill to get the tourist bus for just over a euro each. We got a couple of taxis when the weather wasn't as good which were about 10euros. Theres a supermarket at the bottom of the hill, and a little bar opposite which was lovely & great place to stop for a drink before getting the bus. Would definitely book again if we returned to Lake Garda :) thanks for a lovely stay!
