A beautiful historical place. If, like me, you love Virgil’s poetry, you should plan a stay in this Agriturismo. (The place is built on the site of Virgil’s home). A museum dedicated to Virgil is close by. It is only minutes away from Mantova’s historic center. The place is large and our host gave us a brief tour of the large main floor rooms and halls, with a brief background of when an by whom the place was built, how it was inherited by the current owners The room was luxuriously spacious and comfortable; the breakfast included fresh eggs and milk from the farm plus an assortment of bread, yogurt, brioches. The host and owner, Nicoletta, is a really lovely person. We wished that we had planned a longer visit - we will be coming back for sure. Absolutely satisfied!
