9 reviewsFour of us spent a week in Il Casale di Max. The owners welcomed us, and showed us around the house: a nice stone villa. A good kitchen and a large living room (wich we never used) on the ground floor. On the second floor there is two bedrooms with bathrooms (let's be honest, the showers aren't great, but who cares?). Then the more imporant: the outside: a football court, vegetable garden, swimming pool og barbeque. We spent all days outside. Eating under the vines, athing all day, barbequing at night. This is really what life should be! Only an hour to Rome if you'ld like lunch there some time. We also visited Civita di Bagnoregio an hour and a half away. Buy you groceries at the local Conad, just a short drive from the villa. We can strongly recommend Il Casale di Max, and hope many more will have a great time there!
