Hotel I Larici

I stayed three nights at the hotel while hiking in the area. I stumbled onto Hotel Larici by chance and it had everything I wanted. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had a balcony with flowers. It was totally silent at night, but a five minute walk takes you to an animated pedestrian street filled with shops, cafes and restaurants. Another five minutes takes you to the historic center. Note that hotel is also easily walkable from the train station. Breakfast isn't amazing but perfectly adequate by Italian standards: hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, toast, yogurt, croissants. Look, this is no fancy hotel. It's an unpretentious place run by a friendly family. But I can't imagine anyone not being comfortable here. In winter there's apparently a free shuttle bus that makes the rounds of the town to take you to the slopes.
