Li Zuti Country Resort

This location allowed us to drive into Florence every day when we wanted to visit Florence. The surrounding town is quiet and has a nice groceries store and restaurants. A compound consisting of only 5 different apartments, The Lizuti Resort is beautiful, spacious, charming, and has all the amenities to create a vacation where you don’t need to leave the ground if you don’t want to. Italian Breakfast is provided everyday for a fee. I think they will also have a chef on site, and a bar set up for the garden area soon. The swimming pool area is spacious and clean with dining sets, sun beds, and umbrella setup. The hot tub also provides a scenic vista of the surrounding hills. There is a ping pong table and some other game toys set up on the grass. The beautiful grounds filled with the scent of lavenders really set up the tone for an idyllic Tuscan retreat. For travel tip: you’ll need a car to navigate the winding roads. We plugged in the address on our car GPS and it took us on the long crazy road after the freeway exit. Ask Laura for the best way to get there before you start driving. It is 20 minutes drive to the groceries store and restaurants in the town below the hill. After that it will be another 20 minutes to reach the train station parking for central Florence. If you visit Florence, but don’t want to stay inside Florence - This is the place!
