Great spot to rest if you’re visiting Sequoia. The place next door is cool, has decent dining options and the staff is helpful and knows the area. It covers the basics, nothing fancy, but everything is clean and in good shape.

It very near to Sequoia national park entrance. You wake up to see beautiful morning in mountains. It was clean and great.

Nice, cheap place right next to entrance to Sequoia NP. Nice place to rest after a long day of hiking!

We stayed in a standard, and very nice, motel room.  It was plenty spacious, had a mini-fridge and coffee maker, and is situated in a beautiful valley with terrific mountain views. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.  The only negative was the lack of a microwave.  One thing to know if you plan to stay there as a base for visiting Sequoia National Park is that the drive up to the park is a climb involving miles of constant switchbacks that take awhile.  This is obviously not the fault of the hotel...just something to be aware of.  All in all, this was a good place that we'd recommend to others.

Great location, but the maintenance is really poor. The place needs quite a bit of TLC. Also the tub is very slippery.

Easy check-in. Double locks on doors. Convenient to Sequoia Nat'l Park.

I'm talking to my budget motel travelers right now. This is the definition of a budget motel, so if you're staying there for those specific reasons this is an alright spot!! I needed a quick 6 hours sleep on the way into Sequoia which this is perfect for. But other than that, yeah it's not exactly fancy or nice. There are other spots around for about double the cost of you like nicer amenities. This is as basic as it gets, but it's fine for what you're paying.....my fellow budget travelers will know what I'm talking about

For the price and location, we were satisfied.  We made the booking a few hours before as we decided to visit the Trail of the 100 Giants in the Sequoia Forest.  The dated one-story motel and our room was pretty much what we expected.  The room is large, with a renovated bathroom. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but the shower is very nicely tiled.  Coffee pot, microwave, and fridge all worked.  Picnic tables and a grill are on the premises and we were lucky to be invited to a feast.

The River Inn in Three Rivers offers a convenient location just outside Sequoia National Park, making it an ideal base for nature lovers. The proximity to a nearby store is a significant plus for grabbing food and essentials without having to travel far. The property is notably quiet, despite its closeness to the highway, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning effectively kept the room at a comfortable temperature, and the fast WiFi was a pleasant surprise.However, the motel undoubtedly shows its age and is in dire need of renovation. Cleanliness was marginal, especially in the bathroom, which detracted from the overall experience. Furthermore, the electrical outlets were worn and struggled to hold plugs securely. The ambience is clearly that of an old motel that feels as though it's merely hanging on, lacking the charm that could come with updates or renovations.Overall, while The River Inn's location and some amenities are commendable, the cleanliness and maintenance issues are significant downsides that travelers should consider.

Very decent place, all was clean, nothing stood out but also no complaints. Perfect for one or two nights you only need for sleeping. Ive stayed at Buckeye Tree Lodge for 170+ and except for the beautiful river views from Buckeye patios, they’re basically the same basic inn room so I would come here again.

Was not horrible for an overnight stay, wasn’t the nicest place but for the price it was great! After a long drive it was great for a few hours of sleep to head out the next morning!

Could be cleaner but it had just what I needed. The restaurants near by were really good and there’s a market/deli next door. View was nice, plenty of parking and just 5 minutes from the park entrance. Great location.
