Armstrong Inns Bed and Breakfast

We just returned from a great stay at the Jenkins House which has 2 bedrooms (queen beds), 1 large bath, a kitchen, living room/dining room, a nice patio for 2, air conditioning, and free parking. Monique has breakfast items (eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, fruit, milk, orange juice, etc), and desserts delivered daily so that you can prepare breakfast when you are hungry. The house has daily clean up service as well as a dishwasher, washer and dryer for your use (or not!). Monique gave us a great concierge run down of restaurants, shops, and activities at the beginning of the trip as well as some gift certificates for great meals and some wine to enjoy at the house - we even made two bottles of sangria with one of the bottles and the fruit (strawberries, melon, grapes). Savannah is a wonderful city with 22 squares, great shopping, fantastic food, and multiple city tours. It is easy to walk everywhere. Nice beaches are about 25 minutes away on Tybee Island. We tried both North beach (nice bar and grill!) and central beach; both had chairs and umbrellas for rent. St Simon Island, Hilton Head, and Bluffton are within driving distance for nice day trips. Our family really enjoyed Savannah (even more than Charleston!). I would not hesitate to return.
