Scary motel with people seating outside rooms fixing cars cooking enjoying loud music. Manager old guy do not care for guest . All he care give me money from re ok and all risk for entire stay is yours .no breakfast no pool parking place is all sand . Never ever book unless you are one of them

All homeless welcome to stay here. All bad peoples favorite this place . People are seating outside rooms all day . Fixing cars playing musical smoking outside rooms like this is public smoking place in entire roswell. Most welcome to stay here when you are homeless

Hotel of home less

Room pictures look okay may be one or two rooms has been painted good.My room is no where near to one I look up online and booker. They talk so different language so I just took my room keys and left office . Infact it's good office that's it. Outside scared me still I dare I took room . I am foolest guy to book this dumb place

This place is just worth make a reservation cancel reservation and stay at some other place in roswell.they have better hotel just one block. I will never ask my worst friend to stay at this place . Phone never worked from room. All night people walking and looking for something.

This place is no worth staying one night ,I stayed and checked out middle of night .I didn't want to wait for refund just driven two blocks to right and found one nice place with bird sign and stayed at that hotel cheaper and cleaner . I talked to manager and he told me he gets every other day one guess like me . Hope you don't like it get sorry feeling like me.

Sorry never again

I have made booking without reading other reviews big mistake. I agree with other negative reviews . This place is full of scary people staying all next door. Owners don't care about any safety from normal safety to covid19 safety for guest. Internet is very slow. Rooms seems new color and try to make it good but I will go with all other reviews . Find some better place for safety of you it car and stuff inside your car

You decide

People milling around near the rooms. The furniture was beat up. Bathroom looked nothing like the quaint mid century photos. Room smelled. Didn't want to touch anything. I turned around and left. Didn't ask for a refund as I'm sure it would have been a pain. I don't understand how this place gets any positive reviews.

If ever on business or just passing thru Roswell..Do NOT stay here..unless U like bugs, drugs, crack ho's..thugs...etc....
Sleep in ur vehicle or in a park... Recomend U drive on 2 Lubbock or Ruidoso.

If you're into older motels that have not been renovated or changed in the least and yet have been maintained and kept clean and in full repair, this is the place for you.  Wait until you see the Tiffany blue bathroom tile floor.  All the fixtures seem original, rooms have added in the key cards that you tap rather than swipe and the rooms come with fridge, microwave and HD tv. It is not a flat screen nor a plasma or LED but it works wonderfully.  My cost was $50 a night and it was so much more charming and had so much more character than a Motel 6.

Don't let the outside fool you.  This looks like any other broken down motor court.  It isn't. The rooms are well kept, and immaculately clean despite possibly up to 40 years of wear and tear.

It appears to be family owned and operated, which is a plus.

Love Old Motels?

My wife and I got stuck in town during a big snowstorm and finally found vacancy at the Belmont Motel.  They also allowed our dog which was a major benefit.  A family-owned motel--the manager was extremely friendly and accommodating.  The room was adequate.  They were also remodeling many of the rooms.  The price was fair.  I was later informed that other hotels in town had doubled rates given high demand from travelers during the snowstorm; however, I was happy to see that the Belmont Motel had not taken part in this price gouging scheme.
