The Villas of Palm Springs

This is a delightful stay. Staff/host was helpful and friendly. We loved that the property was peaceful, quiet, and spacious. It is a no frills place, and well kept for a comfortable vacation. There is a full kitchen with cookware so that you can prepare a simple breakfast for a picky child. All rooms have direct view of the pool.

Our first time in Palm Springs, went to watch Paribas Open. The place is on a very quite street, groceries and restaurants at a walking distance, great view at the mountains. The place is basic but very clean, green and quite. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi was working well. Heated pool and very friendly stuff. Overall it was a great value for money.

I recently stayed at this small, quiet, and quaint hotel, and it was a really pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, though they do work minimal hours, so make sure to plan accordingly. The room felt like a cozy studio apartment, complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living space, comfortable bed, and a well-maintained bathroom. The decor hasn't been updated since the 90s, but everything was spotlessly clean and in good shape, which made up for the dated style. There was a lovely little patio out back for some semi-private sunshine and fresh air. The heated pool right outside the front door was a nice touch, and I noticed they were actively cleaning it during my stay, which shows attention to detail. Overall, it’s a no-frills kind of place, but it was perfect for a comfortable, three-night stay. It had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway.

I needed a comfortable place to stay with a full kitchen and this place totally hit the bill. Clean, comfortable, nice little property.

Older property in sync with mid-century vibe. Clean, nicely appointed. Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry could use updating, but furniture, appliances, windows, floors newer. Quiet part of town , not far from center, bus stop nearby. Not posh, but well maintained older property. My studio room very large, king bed and sofa bed, large full kitchen. 

We loved our relaxing , quiet stay here. We had family converging from Costa Mesa, Texas, Claremont & Phoenix. Whenever we needed something office people were helpful pleasant & prompt. Plus when we were locked out on Sunday with our luggage still in room, manager made trip on day off to let us get our things

I have stayed at The Villas several times over the years and have always had wonderful stays and great vacations.  Quaint, smaller boutique hotel that is close to downtown Palm Springs, shopping and restaurants, it always feels like you have the resort to yourself, even when the resort is full of guests.  It also has the unique advantage of being pet friendly, which is a rarity with timeshare properties.  The staff is always friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Three days in Palm Springs

We arrived on a Friday evening after 4pm (notified staff ahead of time), they were kind and stated that is fine. Late check-in is via codes provided by staff ahead of time and then the envelope tells you what room to go to. Not the most secure but luckily it works. The property is pretty tiny with only 12 units, but one side they have a non heated pool and on the other side is a heated pool and jacuzzi. I wish we stayed on the heated pool side cause we used the Jacuzzi both nights and it would've been nice to be near it. The room itself was spacious, basically a 1 bedroom suite for us, everything seemed basically clean, a lil outdated but it met our needs for the short stay we had. Wifi was free and available, but the instructions state it's only for emails. No streaming, so not good for those with kids who want to watch their favorite Disney Plus stuff, etc. check out is a not bad since you just make sure everything is closed up and lights are all off, then just leave the keys in the room and closed up the room.

Excellent stay at the Villas

We will be going back.  This was my 2nd year stay and very pleased overall about our stay.  The staff was friendly and the grounds well taken care of.  The units inside are a bit tired ( needs painting, decorating  and new kitchen cupboards and counters ) and need some attention.  But a comfortable place to stay.

Our holiday at the villas

My husband and I just came back from a week's stay at this resort.  The pools were sparkling clean, the outside and inside looked like it was freshly painted, the room was huge, had a lot of windows and was well appointed.  It lists the kitchen as a kitchenette but it is a full kitchen with a large refrigerator, oven, microwave, big sink and 4 burner stove.  We had one of the largest rooms with 2 bathrooms and a large cozy stone fireplace.  The manager, Gracie, and Asst. Manager, Peggy, were so nice and helpful.  If we needed anything or had questions they were always available.  It was very quiet - you could hear the birds singing.  There were humming birds, jack rabbit and butterflies.  They have a lot of grassy areas, bar-be-ques, tables with umbrellas, chairs, and lounge chairs too around the pool. The room had two big desks which was nice as I brought my lap top as I had to work. The resort is centrally located - less than a 10 min. drive to down town Palm Springs where there is a lively night life with lots of good places to eat.  And Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage are only a short drive. You can sit outside and watch the sun go down over the magnificent mountains which are close by. The room was very clean.  They allowed us to use the washer and dryer - it was so convenient.

Fantastic week of rest, sunshine,and clear weather

Pet friendly, clean, fenced in pools are right outside the units, convenient to Palm Springs shopping and restaurants, across the street from a great coffee bar and only a block from Elmer's Diner. The one bedroom unit had a king size bed and the LR had a pull out couch that was decently comfortable.
