This place is a gem. Located within walking distance to many great coffee and food options, yet far away enough that it’s like a quiet haven by the pool and hot tub. Will definitely book to stay here again when we visit Palm Springs.

Where do I start, I mean the hotel is so cute! It’s not only beautifully setup and very private but wow the service was amazing. Please, please never change. The fridge was stocked up (greatly appreciated). We loved room 8 (can this always be mine?). Everything from the front office to the pool was nice. The interior and exterior of the rooms is so luxe yet very eco friendly. The shower is so spacious and the water pressure is just perfect, I didn’t want to get out of the shower. Also every employee was very kind. I’d really like to shoutout the housekeepers, the sweetest and kindest ladies. Overall, this is my favorite hotel in Palm Springs. If you want to feel rested and be in a peaceful and quiet hotel this is for you. Expedia recommended this, I took a leap of faith since I was shocked to see that this was affordable, which in this economy is a rare find. But to find an affordable hotel that is so warm and welcoming is truly a blessing, especially during Coachella week. So thank you! 10/10.

Staff went above and beyond! They’re very friendly. My room that I was originally given the a/c was not working very well. They not only moved us to a different room that was an upgrade no charge, they immediately got to work on the air conditioner that didn’t work to make available to others.

A great hidden gem harkening back to the glory mid-century modern years od Palm Springs lore. Beautiful updates throughout the property. The outdoor living environment with a nice pool and jacuzzi are perfect! Bring your flops or slippers as the indoor/outdoor quality carpet in the room is a but rough and will hurt most feet. Dont forget to read email and get ypur access code to the property...man we loved the vibe in and out here!

We loved the detail in the decor of this property.  It was so cool and kitschy every where you looked.  The bed was super comfortable and the huge rain shower was fantastic.  We are a big hot tub fan and it did not disappoint with a great heat level and ample jets.  Also enjoyed the heated pool it felt heavenly even though the weather was a bit cool.  We appreciated the little Smeg fridge that really kept stuff cold and a few complementary beverages and snacks to keep us going.  There were some great places to eat within walking distance, Rick’s, Boozehounds and Arrive poolside.  Plus a nice walking trail about a mile away that gave us a fabulous view of the valley. What a great getaway with Mahala. So peaceful

Excellent property, super fancy and well appointed courtyard with a gorgeous mountain view. The room was extremely comfortable. We came for the tennis tournament and barely spent any time in besides sleeping, and we will stay again when in the area.

Very stylish with excellent design. Each room has different design. Very easy to check in and out. Appreciated the welcome snacks and drinks. Very quiet and private. Good restaurants across the street. Close to airport and downtown.Doesn’t even seem like a hotel.Would have liked a full length mirror as well as a magnifying makeup mirror.

Property was cute and quaint. Staff was welcoming and always helpful. Room was cute. While I love a sisal rug, I didn’t so much love it on my bare feet. I would say the number one thing that I felt would have helped the room was simply a luggage rack. There was not really a good surface to open up your luggage and storage was minimal. Fantastic shower but would be great to have toiletries in larger containers attached to the wall as there was only a small basket shelf in the shower that kept falling off. Just a few details would definitely bump this spot up and overall it was really great and comfortable!

The facade is easy to miss, as it is somewhat minimalist in design. The inside, and courtyard and rooms are well designed and modern, and like a small oasis. Some good diners and restaurants across the street, and the location is a short drive to the center of town. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. Beds are super comfortable and the shower was new and large.

Where do I even begin? Let's start with I'm not even done with my stay and I'm giving this 5 stars. From before I even arrived communication was prompt and pleasant bordering on joyful. They texted me a few times confirming my stay and expressing excitement. I checked in after the office hours and the directions sent ahead of time were clear and easy to follow. As soon as I walked in I was struck by how beautiful the public area and pool were. It was like walking into a mid-century dream and I hadn't even gotten into my room! Speaking of, what a charming and delightful room. The decor was on point, the bed comfortable and yummy snacks and water on top of it all! I'm already planning my next stay. Keep it up Mahala!

Might be my new favorite place

I had the pleasure of staying at Mahala over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and it exceeded my expectations in every way. One of the standout features was the large outdoor jacuzzi, which provided the perfect escape for relaxation after a day out and about the town. And the comfortable bedding made for restful nights, ensuring I woke up refreshed and ready to enjoy the day.The in-room bluetooth speaker was a delightful touch, allowing us to set the perfect atmosphere with our favorite music. I also loved the creative decor of the room; it felt unique and thoughtful, adding a special charm that made our stay even more enjoyable. The outdoor patio space was another highlight, providing a comfortable space that encourages intimate conversations to unwind together in a serene setting. It truly created a wonderful ambiance for a couples’ weekend getaway.Lastly, I must mention Tucker, the onsite attendant, who was a pleasure to talk to in the mornings. His friendly demeanor and helpful insights made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Overall, this boutique hotel is a gem that I would highly recommend for anyone seeking a romantic retreat!

Such a stylish, cute, boutique hotel. Beautiful patio and lounge area. Room was great, snacks & beverages were offered at no additional charge plus a refrigerator in the room was great. The only thing I could comment on is the carpeting, not very comfy & a bit abrasive on bare feet so make sure to pack slippers!

Cute Oasis Stay

What an incredible gem! Blink and you'll miss it from the street, but behind the door is a gorgeous space full of tranquility, light, and color. My only complaints were that the pool was too cold for me (I'm a baby), and I think I messed up the a/c in my room (still nice and cold, but there was a confusing piece of the instructions around eco mode and shared fans, etc), 10/10, I would absolutely stay here again, loved it!
