Maybe I just got a bum room, but they must be paying off code enforcement to stay open-There was no smoke alarm; door could be kicked in by a 3 year old-Bathroom window consisted of cardboard with duct tape-Bathroom door was punched with holes-Shower was hooked up to sink with drain on opposite/wrong end of tub-Sheets were dirty & bedbugs were present-Asked for new sheets & they acted like they were doing us a favor-Checked out in 2 hours-Worst motel I've ever been in my life

Go Somewhere Else

While this isn't more than a room with a bed and a toilet and a shower (microwave and fridge as well if I remember correctly) and pretty much the bottom of the barrel for roadside motels, I must leave a positive review because the manager was very nice when we showed up at 3am to check in after driving across country. But the real show of kindness was that they mailed my eyeglasses back to me after I left them in the room.  They didn't have to do that, but they followed through and I really appreciate it. So you won't get ambiance at this motel but we felt it was fine for a night's rest, the price unbeatable, and the bed was actually really comfortable!

very cheap motel, nice manager

We arrived in Kingman AZ quite late, and we didn't have a hotel yet. So Navi asked us if we were going to go to a street with no lights on it. So we went up the aisle with the fat Escalade and thought we were going to be there. Somewhere in the dark there were two lights in a house - otherwise it was dark. Nee Nee. This can't be a hotel, especially since we were on a dusty sidewalk. So Navi asked us about the next entry. So we went up there and saw the sign LIDO MOTEL. So we went up the aisle with the fat Escalade and hoped that someone was still there. Ups - office was empty. The first motel room had the door open and the lights on. So we knocked on the door and the family came out of the motel, but we went to ask the hostel. So we went to the door to ask questions.

Garlic family wanted to get our hands dirty.

Great place to stay.Loved it.Excellent location on route 66.The owners Mr. &  Mrs. Patel 
very friendly and helpful.They did not charge us for bottled water.The motel is ideally located and we highly recommend it.

Lido Motel great place for budget travellers

It was a disastrous experience. We paid $54 for a room in this milder motel. When we discovered our room we were amazed at the overall condition of the place: the smell of locked up and rusty, dirty bedding, very little furniture in the room, uninfected bathroom (hair on the floor, nonexistent shower handles, brown bathtub), no wifi. The walls of the room are simply made of recycled bricks, without any coating. The rooms are really comparable to prison cells. The photos published in this commentary speak for themselves. We have no worries about entering motels but it was really horrible.

The word horrible is not strong enough.

Don't pay upfront until you see the room they are going to put you in.  I had to be moved twice due to the stench of cigarette smoke.  The best thing about room was the A/C and hot water, then it goes downhill from there.  You'll find zero amenities in these room, they do supply you a tiny bar of soap about the size Halloween size Hershey bar.  Bath towels are the size of hand towels, the walls are brick and prison like, with mismatched paint on the walls.  Dead bugs were on the carpet, and for the shower plumbing two hoses from below the sink extended into the shower/tub and connected to exposed piping with gate valves to regulate the water flow.  The one mirror had old tape adhesive residue ail over it.  

Spend an extra $30 and get a room worth while.

Nice Owners/Bad Motel

We went to this motel and paid cash 50$ for moving in at 1 PM. We saw the room before we decided, but as we have been there for ten minutes, we realized this was just too filthy.
We packed our stuff and left of and paid another, clean motel. 
Stupid of us - but we would rather pay twice than stay there - we could not stand that 😖 Don't ever go there!!
