Gem Coast Inn LLC

My friend and I came to go to Stump Pass Beach State park. We live inland about 2.5 hours and wanted to relax before our day at the beach, so we are staying overnight, before heading there in the AM. The reviewers are right. Extremely clean, updated, and large. Lots of pillows and decent quality linens. No polyester bed spreads! No breakfast or ice machine. But they do have a decent size frig, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The room was inviting and cool when we walked in and check in was easy, though I had to do it outside at the window, because of COViD. The traffic on McCall Rd is noisy. The attendant put us in a room on the back side facing the canal on the 3rd floor. Yes, there IS an elevator in the middle of the building in the garage on the bottom floor. The motel is 3 stories. The pool is inviting and is 3-6’ deep. Will swim next time. The rates are very reasonable and we were given a discount too. There are two restaurants within walking distance. We went to Mama’s Italian. Authentic homemade food and excellent service. The next day we went across to Farrow’s for lunch. Be advised you must have a reservation for dining inside. We ate out on the patio under cover and it was pleasant even though the temp was mid 80’s.
