This property was perfect for what we needed. We were within walking distance to everything in Edgartown and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

A lovely spot near the downtown, shopping, restaurants and the wharf. It had everything we needed.

Would like to help by telling you that the bathroom door squeaks and could awaken people. A little adjustment would help.

Clean, quiet apartment close to the Edgartown waterfront

Perfect location- very walkable to shopping and dining. Staff was always available via text and extremely accommodating. I’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning next we come to MV.

Our family (2 adults & 3 kids ages 5-10)  stayed in the small house (Room 6) in the back.   I would consider our saize about the max to comfortably stay here.  It has a small private yard in the back where you can relax.  The location is excellent we did not have a car (just our bikes) and were able to walk to and from downtown with ease.  The manager (Ellen) was amazing at meeting our request to get in early and was very quick and understanding in all her communication.  I would absolutely recommend this place to families and those looking for a comfortable, quiet spot to recharge.  Great stay!

Staff was very flexible and friendly. Room was exceptional, great location within walking distance to shopping, dining, and tours. Easy to catch public transportation to other towns on the island

Perfect location. Very close to the Main Street with all the shops. No need to drive a car. The staff working are very friendly. The room I had was older than the photos online. The fridge did not have a handle and was old. The carpet is also old with some stains. I had a second level room and the stairs are not wide. If you are a senior or have kids I won’t recommend the second floor room. I will recommend this Inn and will stay again when visiting Martha’s Vineyard. With parking and a convenient location I can’t ask for anything more.

3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service & Location

We recently stayed here for the annual Christmas in Edgartown celebration. The inn was centrally located so it was easy to walk to all the events. The inn was clean and comfortable. The extra bonus of a fridge, stove and microwave were added bonuses for cooking in the room if desired. The people who run the inn were kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location

The property looks much better than its pictures. It’s in a very good location, walkable to the ferry or the bus stop not to mention all the shopping and dining varieties. Our rooms were very clean, but there is carpet in the main living space. If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own. They provided an old style coffee maker, (not a Keurig) and the coffee was horrible. So we still had to go out for coffee.

This is such a lovely place, the staff really cares about the rooms and in making your stay pleasant. I love that the rooms have small living rooms and kitchenettes. Perfect for young families. You can walk to everything from here, or bike over to South Beach and Morning Glory Farm.
Clean and comfortable!!

Great spot!!

Anne was very kind, it was a great quiet spot so close to downtown but just far enough out of the fray to be quiet.We stayed with my wife and 2 year old daughter and the setup is perfect for a small family given the living room and bedroom.  We put her to bed in the bedroom each night then moved her to the pullout air bed at our bedtime.  She’s too big for a pack and play so this setup was ideal. Very clean, very responsive…will be returning!

Perfect Gem

When booking for a few night stay at Martha's Vineyard, we were surprised at how expensive the hotels were off season (Middle of Oct), and we found the Lightkeepers Inn.  I was a bit skeptical as the rates seemed too good to be true but the online reviews made us take a chance and book.  I am very glad we did.  We were here with family so they were in the main building and we were out in the Light Keepers Cottage.    They did contactless check in, the place was very clean and in a great location.  Staff we saw were very friendly.  When we go back we will for sure stay here again.

Great value, I almost don't want to share this gem

We stayed at The Lightkeeper's Inn for three nights in August and loved it! From our arrival to the moment we left, the staff was welcoming, kind and very helpful; going above and beyond in every way. We sincerely appreciated their thoughtfulness, the charming decor, cleanliness, comfortable bed and the close proximity to town. 

We walked everywhere; to the lighthouse, shops and to the restaurants, which are among the best on the island. We stay on the island approx. five times a year and we hope to return to The Lightkeeper's Inn. Many thanks to Heidi, Pat and Ann for a wonderful stay!

Charming & Welcoming Inn

Lightkeepers Inn is located a 3 minute walk from DT Edgartown and the water. We wanted to experience the MV lifestyle and did not want hotel style stay. LKI is exactly what we were looking for in MV, Convenient, Quaint & Clean. We stayed in the East Chop Suite, although on the second floor had a large private deck surrounded by beautiful flowers and perfect for starting the day with coffee, ending the day with a glass of wine and perfect for reading. Sincere thanks to Annie and Heidi for a wonderful stay.

This place is very close to the shopping area by the water of Edgartown. It's quiet and you can park right by your room (convenient when you need something from your car). The staff do a good job cleaning your room. We used the sofa bed, cooked and left dirty dishes in the sink and when we returned, everything was clean and the sofa bed was put away.The only thing I dislike is there is no vent in the bathroom and in the kitchen. However, I would definitely return to this place.
