This company rents units in several high end buildings in Daytona Shores, Florida, and while the unit we rented was very good, the rental manager is a nasty woman who charged us for a lost $50 garage door opener despite the fact that insurance protection is charged for incidentals at the time of booking. A very short sighted and classless approach as we are very responsible tenants of rental properties and regularly vacation in the area, but will not be not be returning or using Ponce Inlet Realty for renting or our eventual purchase of a condo. There is a plethora of options in Florida beach communities for short and long term rentals, and I would advise using VRBO or other local companies going forward.

Shockingly bad service

Toilets flushed very slow or needed to be flushed additional times, otherwise everything was great!

We recently stayed at The Shores Condominium and we had a terrific vacation.  We stayed in unit 902 which was very clean and well supplied.  The furniture and beds were comfortable plus there was plenty of room for the four of us. The elevators were new and ran very well. The best thing I liked was the balcony: I was able to take pictures of beautiful sun rises and early afternoons we sat out with our coffee, talking about our daily adventure.  Each day but one, we found a handicap parking spot  (though we stayed in Oct-Nov and the condo was very quite).  As for Ponce Inlet Realty, everyone was helpful and courteous.  Near the end of our vacation we had a major problem but when we brought it to the their attention, they found a way to accommodate our needs.  I apologize to the reviewers who had complaints but I cannot join them.  Our group of 4 walked away with good memories of a pleasant vacation.  Thank you, The Shores Club and thanks, too, Ponce Inlet Realty.

You must be aware of the unit you rent! Avoid 805 and Itrips in general!No air conditioning for 10 days. Water would only come out the shower. Plastic toilet seat. Broken down furniture. Elevator down frequently. Construction starts about 9am. Itrip would not even respond to complaints. 

Terrible unit 

Facility had some damage from hurricane Ian, but was in very good condition…considering.Our condo was very modern, clean with great ocean front views.Would definitely stay there again

Some  people focus on the small things to review but I prefer to focus on the memories and bonds that become memories to remember love and the important things. 
     Yes, the rooms could use a makeover but i found my stay in room 205 very pleasant and the room lacked very little. I could mention everything but the room supplied all my families needs. The room rooms where large clean and friendly. 
    It felt secure. I even found lemons left in the lobby as a personal gift to residents . It was thoughtful and a touch of care for the visitors. We had a great time. Wish i was better at creating a verbal picture but i hope you could read between the lines and enjoy this Ocean view resort

Worst vacation ever. We rented a 2/2 from V Trips for around $1,400 for a week.
Everything was fine the day we arrived but the next morning, the jackhammers started with the demolition of the concrete walkways.
We were told the management company had two months notice of the construction but rented to us anyway.
Our complaints were met by deaf ears for two days.
We dropped the keys off at the management office telling them we were not looking for a hotel and would expect a complete refund.
At this point the managed to find us a replacement condo but 35 miles away and on a crummy rock infested beach with no pool nearby.
I could go on and on but you get the idea, avoid this at all costs and speaking of costs, we never received any sort of a refund.

Under construction

Beware!  This complex is not handicap accessible and there is limited parking, even for guests.  We rented a unit without being told it was not handicap accessible (steps to the pool from the building and many steps to the beach) and could not get our wheelchair-bound family member down to the pool or out to the beach.  The complex next door was nice enough to let us wheel over and come thru their lobby to use the ramp to the beach.  As well, they only allow one parking space per unit, so if you have more than one car (like we did for 8 guests)  then there is no parking space for the other car.  The garage is not accessible expect thru stairs (no elevator) and clearance does not provide for anyone with a luggage-carrier.  You can hardly get in to the bottom floor of the parking deck in an standard height SUV.  The units may be nice (or may not be depending on whom you rent from) but these are some great drawbacks!  Their website should have a disclaimer for those handicap or elderly.  

Some Serious Drawbacks

I have stayed here many times.   The place is getting worse each year.  V Trips have taken over property rentals which seems to be the problem.   No one internally to deal with.  Rooms are poorly cleaned after rentals.   If u decide to take a place go through owner directly.
