We arrived at JFK about 11pm after a long flight, then had to do immigration and get our luggage. The hotel shuttle arrived quickly; we got to the Hampton just a midnight. Dog tired, we were glad to have check in go smoothly. The room was better than expected with plenty of space for our big suitcases, a welcome hot shower, and a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. Also, for being in the city, the outside noise was minimal--we slept well. Breakfast in the morning was standard Hampton, exceptionally well prepared (I appreciate the sausage actually being browned.) Finally, it was good to be back home and get a real NY bagel with a smear of cream cheese in the morning. After breakfast, our ride arrived to take us to our home north of the City.
