Hotel Xenia, Autograph Collection

Had an amazing stay at the Hotel Xenia AGAIN in lovely London Kensington. The location is ideal (close to shops, restaurants, and two great parks - Holland Park, Hyde Park, among others), and the rooms (while petit) are comfortable and quiet and well appointed. The front desk staff and lobby folks are very helpful and quick; they feel like family. Everyone is so helpful with directions, questions, or needs. The breakfast in La Terraza is the best around, hence my return. They serve hot and cold items like eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, nuts, cheeses, cold cuts, over 6 fresh breads and pastries, and my all time favorite - the fresh fruit selection, including freshly pressed juices too. Really is a great breakfast. For dinner, you must try the basic penne pasta with tomato sauce and basil. Something about it is incredibly delicious. The pasta and sauce together are among the best I've had anywhere. While I receive nothing but the best service from this restaurant staff and bar, I need to give a quick shout out to Olga, who has been working this restaurant for eons, and always welcomes me with a smile, remembers my name, and gives impeccable service. I'd be lying if I didn't admit she is one of the reasons I return to the hotel, and the restaurant. Thank you Olga for your warm and friendly service! And thank you to the entire team at Xenia. I will be back anytime I'm in London.
