The Rathbone Hotel, Fitzrovia

Kings and Queens, You will be treated like Kings and Queens! From the minute you set foot you will be pampered. It starts with a location that is busy when it need be and quiet when you need it most. It seems like you are close to just about everything you might need or desire. Walking to so many of the essential London sites is a breeze, and the underground will take even further. Walking into the lobby you will be greeted by some of the warmest, caring staff I have ever encountered. Jesus at the front desk took care of our every need from information to an iron and a board even delivering it himself! Holly who also worked the front desk connected wholeheartedly with my husband being a fellow Australian they had lots of laughs and added to the feeling of being at home. There were others at the front desk, that I swore I'd remember their names and have since forgotten, who were also so charming and inquisitive in a helpful manner. Every one of them making sure we had what we might need to complete that days adventure, whether it was a recommendation of some sort or the directions to get somewhere. Wow, I've only talked about the the neighbourhood and the lobby! Let's talk about newly remodelled room! Our room was impressive, the minute you walk in you get a plush vibe, the colour scheme, the furniture the bed and the layout of the lighting, a big plus for me! The smallest details were noticed by me including the way the television was mounted on a custom made iron frame. Speaking of details, the bathroom was full of them, smartly appointed and elegantly laid out. I specifically enjoyed the closeup mirror within a mirror and the shower stall with multi shower heads. We did take advantage of the continental breakfast, the staff was so ingratiating and ever so ready to make your breakfast memorable, The selection of food was phenomenal and some of the items even baked on the premises. The Rathbone is a wonderful, clean, smartly appointed hotel with a staff that makes your experience in London an even greater one. We will be back, and when we do we will stay at The Rathbone!
