Zedwell Capsule Hotel, Piccadilly Circus

Superbly located capsule hotel. Previously the Picadilly Hostel, now recently renovated into Zedwell Capsule Hotel - not to be confused with the co-owned Zedwell Hotel around the corner. At time of visiting, the branding hadn’t fully transitioned to Zedwell.Capsules have comfy beds, a dimmable light, air-conditioning, USB and electrical socket and a privacy screen which can be locked from the inside and outside (using your own padlock). Capsules are either ground level, or up some stairs (which is not ideal).Shared bathrooms and shower facilities are good and continually cleaned. The showers themselves have fixed heads which don’t provide a great experience, but they’re manageable. The real issue is a lack of hooks and shelving when using the sinks!There are no lockers for storing your luggage in the dorms, but security seems good with cameras everywhere and you can always lock your luggage in your capsule when you’re out.Note that at the time of visiting (July 2025), the communal space hadn’t yet opened. A towel was provided free of charge, and could be changed daily, which was excellent, but reception advised they may introduce a fee for these in the future - please don’t!Management - please add more hooks and shelving in the dorms and the bathrooms! Also, please make luggage storage before and after checkout free-of-charge, as if you begin charging, suddenly your pricing doesn’t look so reasonable.
