I visited the Cusco region on my journey to Machu Picchu and I decided to go with Casa del Arco. The room was good, especially for the price, but the service of the staff was AMAZING! Although I originally paid to stay one night, I was allowed to leave my luggage securely at the inn. After returning from Macchu Picchu I decided to continue my stay. One of the innkeepers also works for one of Cusco's five star hotels, and gave me a personal tour of the former 1592 monastery turned hotel. I also was given a ride to run a couple of errands and to buy postcards and since the post office was closed on the Sunday before I departed, one of the staff members actually took them to the post office and mailed them for me. I truly felt warm and welcomed and would definitely stay here again.
