The rooms are very basic so if you are looking for luxury, go somewhere else. However, the location is amazing - they are less than half a block from the beach front and on Los Pinos, next to all of the most popular bars, restaurants and surf shops. Meanwhile, they offer some of the best prices for beds and rooms in Huanchaco and the family that owns it is really nice and laid back. The hostel is connected to their restaurant and bar, Mamacocha's Pizzeria, so there is often live music, parties and dancing happening on the weekends, which means it can get noisy until about 2pm.
