5 star all the way. A stunning lodge and view with excellent food and service. if you wish to see lions and animal is nature this it.  We viewed the wildebeast migration, lions during kill and one lioness choosing to rest in the shade of our jeep after the work of bringing down the kill. We saw a resting Cheeta, a parade of elephants, a tassel of zebras, a confusion of wildebeest, a tower of giraffes and many more  - yes these are the names of groups. Also there were many honeymoons.  This was  a trip of great fun,  great guides and great location, trip not to be missed.

We loved this accommodation. It has everything that you need. Beautiful tents, and the morning and night game rides were excellent. We saw so many animals. Our guides Ben and Evans were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They made all of our outings a lot of fun. We felt safe the entire time we were there, the staff takes very good care of you. Laylar in the dining area was awesome. She made us feel like family. Debbie, the manager helped us coordinate our schedules, she was very kind. The setting of this hotel is undescribable, we truly enjoyed our stay at Hemingway‘s Ol Seki.

It was a spectacular trip with 2 families. I have been on safari before, but I was blown away and saw things I never imagined I would. The staff and guides were beyond incredible. Special thanks to Caroline and Julius with house staff. Isaac, Rachel, and Sydney are incredibly knowledgeable and made sure all of our rides were perfect. We created memories of a lifetime, and I have been all over the world on luxury vacations. All 6 kids (3 in each family) said this was their favorite vacation. 
My sincerest gratitude to all of the staff and Debbie (who had everything organized perfectly) for this wonderful experience.

we had an amazing time here the camp is truly 5 star in every way and everyone was amazing especially Debbie the manager who took time to get to know us and made sure all our needs were taken care of also David our guide and Sydney our spotter who made sure our experience with the wildlife was truly epic something we will never forget 
the staff at the camp took such great care of us the kitchen cooked special food for my daughter’s allergies the dinning room staff were so friendly and kind we will thank them all so much

We visited Ol Seki in June 2025 for our honeymoon. This was our first safari so we didn’t know what to expect, but this exceeded any hopes or expectations we could have had. Debbie was fantastic in running the camp & making us feel very welcome & making our time truly special. The food was delicious & a special effort was made to accommodate gluten free requirements- that was really appreciated, thank you. The room was exceptional, we were lucky enough to see giraffes and elephants from our balcony. We loved the little touches of hot water bottles in the evenings and coffee for wake up calls.  A huge shout out to Mike & Evans who were the best guides we could have asked for. They were very knowledgable, friendly and fun to be around. We got close to a huge array of animals and learnt so much.

I when with my family went in December 2023 for a 3 nights stay at Ol Seki!.  We had selected this private conservancy in Mara as our travel agent told us that, it has a higher chance of seeing the cheetahs.  We were not disappointed! We saw a female cheetah at a close range.  We also saw a leopard, lions and lionesses, elephants and lots of other wild animals.  As we live in South Africa, we have often gone to Kruger National Park.  However, I would say that a  Mara Experience is far better.  The hotel, is located by the river and our room had a  beautiful view of the jungle.  The staff and the manager are very friendly and caring.  The chef will even make the food which is not on the menu.  The masage we got was just a WOW!   My family is already talking about going back soon.

This was our first stay at Ol Seki and indeed in a Conservancy, as previously we have stayed in  the Mara and other National Reserves in Kenya.

It is a small, but a Gem of a camp.  The team at Ol Seki are all first rate, indeed the rules about being back in the lodge by dark, don't apply.   

The main thing for me though was the sheer abundance of wildlife, the area has a Tents, Food and Facilities are all of the highest standard and the density of game is unbelievable.  It is clear talking to the people that they are passionate about where they are and what they are doing.

Whilst we were staying there,  we were lucky enough to have Mel doing front of house, which was lovely as we know Mel from previous tips to Hemingways Watmu,  another amazing hotel, in the small but perfectly formed Hemingways Group.   

Mel did a great job in introducing us to our fellow guests and managed to make it feel as if we were all guests for the weekend at a house party.  Ol Seki has an amazing, atmosphere, the view from our Tent, watching the game was incredible.  There is also plenty to do in between game drives.  The team organised for us to go hot air 
Walking Safaris are also possible and because the lodge is in a Conservancy, not a National Park, you can have Sundowners whilst on a game drive as the very strict ballooning, an experience that I will never forget, it was absolutely magical.  
strong population of Lions' Leopards as well as Elephants, Giraffes, Hippo's etc.  As there are far fewer guests, the experience is so much better as you see very few other vehicles when out on a game drive, making it more relaxing for you and for the wildlife.  

This is one place I know we will definitely go back to.  The combination of Ol Seki and Hemingways Watmu, Safari and Beach made for a  simply perfect trip.

There are no words to describe this wonderful place but I will try to summarise our stay here.
We spent 3 nights here, and this was our first ever safari. From our arrival to departure, we felt so well looked after and nothing was too much for the staff.
Mel and everyone at the camp were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
Our guide Mike was the highlight of our mornings and afternoons. Every game drive with him was an adventure. He is really friendly, relaxed and funny! Also extremely knowledgeable about the animals and wildlife, and an excellent driver!!
Our lodge was simply stunning, the main restaurant and lounge as well as the pool and terrace were also beautiful.
Bush breakfast on our last day was probably the highlight of our stay, and our stake out with the lionesses the night before was a close second!
Everyone we met was also really lovely, and it just goes to show that Hemingways Ol Seki attracts wonderful guests.
We hope to be back one day soon!

My husband and I had the most wonderful start to our honeymoon at Ol Seki. We were greeted at the air strip and taken back to camp where we had the most wonderful surprise by Mel who had upgraded us to the Simba tent. Wow!! We cannot explain how grateful we are! Big boss the chef, William, Moui and Amos you made our stay utterly wonderful and we’ll remember you all so fondly. The food was amazing, the service impeccable and Amos your game drives were a joy and something we’ll never forget. Thank you!! P.S. please share the photos of your staff with them 😊

The absolute trip of a lifetime! 
From the minute we were greeted at the airstrip to the minute we left we had the most incredible experience at Ol Seki. 
Mike our driver and guide made our safari extra special, suddenly arriving at a den of hyenas on the first game drive to being handed a glass of wine and snacks, it was just magical.
Mel greeted us with a warm friendly hug and her roll was taken over by Debbie who also was kind and caring. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. 
We especially loved the food made every day, the chef catered our every needs. The bush breakfast was spectacular along with our romantic cave dinner. 
The lodge itself was pure luxury, overlooking the Masai Mara with stunning views of the animals in the distance. The extra care and detail from the morning coffee delivery to reusable water bottles was a great addition too.
We can’t wait to come back one day in the future.
