One week stay. No towels, when asked we got two small towels. Nothing for hands or face  Spiders everywhere. Bed very hard. No cleaning. Staff unfriendly couldn't care less. Welness center was horrible: trash everywhere and all saunas were cold. Again: staff couldn't care less. Never again!

Anything else but luxury!

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment for 3 nights.

I'll start with the good;
Easy to park at
Right on the beach
Pool facilities were good

The bad;
The apartment was filthy. See picture of armchair! 
Balcony windows filthy as were the balconies and their furniture
Plates/cutlery in the kitchen were dirty and a total mismatch of items.
Pillows lumpy and stained
Duvets stained, duvet covers ripped at ends
Air conditioning had a damp and mouldy smell
Shower holder broken and mould in the cubicle.
No provided towels, soap, shampoo etc.
Furniture in the apartment dated.
Bathrooms were 20 years out of date.
Dead flies and spiders on the walls
We had an ant infestation on our 2nd day.

Get the general idea? To call this place Luxury is either a joke or mistranslated. This is the sort of place you might go to as a student or a backpacker. To add insult to injury it was not cheap to stay here. We would have given this place 1 star however the staff we dealt with were very helpful when we complained. The manager seemed aware of the issues but admitted they needed updating. They sent cleaners to our room who did a better clean, but we shouldn't have needed to ask for this. 
Probably the owners make a good profit on this place and don't care about making sure it is clean, modern and 'luxury'.

Anything but luxury!

We stayed for 3 days, it's not a 4 star at all!!!!!! The room is nice, big with a nice terrace but service level and no food! The restaurant is a cafeteria where everything is lacking and very noisy. Meals without any interest. On Sunday, no housekeeping was done and no clean toilet towels until 7pm

I don't recommend the apartment part because they also have the hotel rooms always on site. However dirty apartment dirty everywhere cooking mostly. Apartments if kept clean and with regular maintenance would be great in my opinion, but guys I swear to you for us it was a very bad experience because of the dirt we found. fact we left a day before, to forget. Even the swimming pool area didn't keep dirt at the edges of the pool for three days so no one always cleaned

Not recommended

When we arrived, we already suspected bad when we went up the stairs to the room/apartment. Everywhere dirty and broken furniture. When we arrived in the room we saw what was expected. It smelled and everything was settled or inhabited. That was the dirt! The floor was sticky, the bed sheets were stained, grease spraying behind the stove, the bakery/microwave not cleaned everywhere dead flies. After 5 minutes of indignation we left the hotel!!! Not to be fooled by the stars. Not even worth a star!

It's not even worth a star!

It is incomprehensible to me how this descent can generate positive reviews. We had booked for 7 days and left the same day again. The apartment was not only furnished and dirty, it was already in the entrance and on the corridors, and there were broken furniture and lamps around. In the rails of the sliding doors lay centimeters high dead mosquitoes, as well as in the balcony furniture the signs had been broken. The windows had been broken. The toilet seat had been broken, the kitchen was spicy. The windows were dirty. At first we asked for a refreshment, but we didn't think about a mistake. But there were some cheers and the director's representatives were ready to talk. I also decided to get another refreshment from the hotel. We could even make another refreshment at the same time.

Don't blow it!

Nepper, tractor, farmer, Hungarian as it shouldn't be - dirty, old, hard of hearing, out of town, sticky, sticky, defective, crushed, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting....... not worth a single star, finger off!!!!!!!!!!

Among all the soul - not even worth a star

Expected a lovely hotel but it wasn’t. Basics are missing horribly. They don’t clean the room unless you ask them. Hotel staff do not speak well any foreign language. No English, No German. I do not recommend.

Not recommended unless you speak Hungarian

So far this has been the most beautiful and relaxing holiday in Hungary at the Lake Platen. The luxury apartment is very well maintained and has a rich and very good breakfast buffet. In the evening we often ate out but also participated more often in the evening buffet. It was very varied and has been greatly enjoyed by the family. The pool was also top quality and is always very well maintained. After the bath day at the lake it was always great to recover with hydro massages.

Take towels with. Ensure what kind of the view on the lake is mean.
Breakfast and dinner aren't worth the price. 
The kitchen is very cheap equiped.

No room service is the big problem.
Receptionstaff very kind but don't understand on english
