Lenti Castrum Termálpanzió

In July we crossed from Slovenia to Hungary, (about 20 km from Slovenian border), to Termálfürdő és Szt. György Energiapark Lenti. The Lenti Thermal Bath has 5 outdoor pools, and a partially covered hydro-massage pool, also 8-hectare green area. We were there only for couple of hours using 2 of their pools. The entrance fee was about $12 CAN. The first pool water temperature was 38C, containing sodium-hydrogen-carbonated thermal water. In this pool you can stay 15 to 20 min. Their web site lists its this benefits suitable for treatment of cardiovascular problems, spine (neck, back, waist), lumbago, arthritis and joints problems. After that we went to a larger outside pool with temperature about 32C, very pleasant to swim or just paddle around as long as you wish. The pools were not crowded. One couldn't find anybody speaking English, not even at the reception. German and Russian were spoken beside Hungarian. Green area surrounds pools. There is so called energy park which benefits I would question. All in all, the couple of hours we spent at the spa were very pleasant experience and we found it very inexpensive. Hotel is on on the site and prices range depends of the time of the year. Accommodation with breakfast and unlimited entrance to pools in July, minimum 2 nights is about CAN $33/person/day. Their website is listed in 5 languages, including English. The surrounding pools are could be made more attractive for a more comfortable stay.
