Aranyszarvas Goldener Hirsch Pension

We had breakfast here whilst staying at at Sub Rosa nearby for 10 days. Aranyszarvas provides a very simple typical Hungarian breakfast but for that it's excellent. They do scrambled eggs, ham & eggs, soft boiled, fried eggs etc. as well as offering cold cuts, cheese, salami, ham, kefir, chopped vegetables, some basic cereals and coffee/tea. All of their cooked breakfasts are delicious and hearty. They use their own chickens' eggs. You can see it's a family business and the owners are lovely and friendly. We have two young kids and we were late a few times but they never seemed to mind. If you have special dietry requirements this place may not be the best for you but if you want to have lush and tasty Hungarian style breakfasts- look no further.
