We've spent 6 days in Hollókői Vendégház. Wev've been to lots of places, but this was the best for us. A lovely place in a quiet town close to Miskolc (appr. 2,5 hours by car from Budapest, all highway except the last 20 km.s). The house has 5 nice rooms (of course with bathroom). There is a swimming pool and a heated bath in the garden. There is also a sauna, a playground for children. The food is excellent, mostly traditional Hungarian country-food. The owners are lovely too, it is their honour, that we really enjoyed these days. And they have excellent wine and "pálinka". :-) I warmly recommend to everybody who wants to spend some days in a quiet and lovely place. We'll be back.
