Barta Pince Vendégház Mád

Was there for one night during my short stay in Tokaji. Very nicely renovated old house, great rooms, bathoom spacious. Eva was smiling all the time. No problem with payment with a VISA card, WiFi was there but somehow not working for me. Would not hesitate to go back again.

We stayed there for 2 nights for our Tokaj tour, this property having 3 suites & 3 guesthouses, good renovated, super big ( especially their suites ) & clean room.
There is no staff inside the property, so, you need to take care yourself once you check in. 
Worth to stay!!
P.S. Good wines, must try!!

Super Big & Clean Room

Great stay

We are into our first night in this beautiful and rustic building...but I cannot stress rustic enough! There is no staff, no canteen, no help. We were locked out for over 30 mins late at night due to the charming and rustic locks. No one answered any of the numbers we tried to call. Luckily we finally figured it out. After that episode, what we really wanted was a cold bottle of water and, of course, not available. We had an amazing day with the hotel wine steward, but other than that, we are paying a whole bunch of money to be completely on our own. I've had more amenities at every airbnb I've ever rented. No coffee, no tea, no kettle, no TV, clock. There IS a wine fridge! Just be prepared.

We stayed 4 nights at Barta Pince and found it very disappointing. 

Arriving at the property (Saturday 3p.m. - no unusual time) there was nobody there. The door was closed and it took us 40 Minutes and the help of our hungarian friends to find a small door which we could open to get into the property. (To be mentioned we also tried several phonenumbers but nobody answered the phone). 

At the property we found an open room with a post it with our name on it. That was the whole contact for four days. No welcome, no hello, no one answering the phone, Nobody was there. No one to clean a room or answer a question for the whole 4 days. 
The room was ok but compared to other beautiful places we found in Hungary nothing special. The bathroom was not really clean we did not find a garbage outside to put our stuff in; but the thing which was really disappointing was the non existing hospitality and service.
