Lux Panzió

Pleasant accomodation with spacious, cosy rooms, friendly staff and great location.
It's right next to the bus station, and only 10 minute walk from most of the attractions.
Breakfast was good too.
Perfect choice if you visit for a few days!

I stayed in Lux Panzio for a night. The hotel is located along the main street of Szarvas so it is very accessible. There are several restaurants nearby. In addition, you can also find important shops like Spar, Cigarette shop, bakery, pharmacy, just few meters from the hotel. 

The interior of the hotel is pretty decent. Nothing outstanding but clean and relatively in order. The stairs to the rooms are too narrow and might be a challenge if you have a big luggage. However, the room is spacious. It is not very modern but it has all the amenities needed for a short stay. Most of the rooms are facing the main street but personally I did not have any issue about the noice as encountered by the reviewer below. As long as you close the window, I can assure that you will be hardly bugged by the noice (Of course, there are certain hours of the day that the highway can be very busy).  

I cannot comment on the breakfast as I have not availed mine because I left early the next day.

This hotel is one of those that falls under "you get what you paid for".

Pension in the heart of Szarvas

Stayed 2 nights as a couple.
Good location: in the centre (road N44), free parking.
Average, noisy rooms. Most of the windows are facing the main road...
Poor breakfast, e.g. you can choose hot chocolate with bread - no pastry at all. The quantity of the hot drinks served for breakfast is strictly limited (tea 2 dl or hot chocolate 3 dl, but no coffee in the menu).
Definitely would not stay again.
