Valentina Guesthouse

A guesthouse in the Jewish district of the city. Entrance is via a key coded gate which then leads up a flight of stairs to a door which then leads to another door into the actual property. The inside was clean and tidy and you enter into the kitchen area of the guesthouse. From there you have access to the bedrooms, mine was a double with a private bathroom. You are able to double turn the door key for added security to the room. The room was small but that was expected for the price. It was clean and tidy and for the price was value for money. The walls are a little thin and you can sometimes hear people moving about but only if you are a light sleeper or already awake. Its not like its heavy footsteps. The WiFi dropped sometimes but for a second or two which for most people is not going to be an issue. The guesthouse is next to a cafe and a minute or so away from a sports bar as well as many other food and drinking places. The closest metro line is Astoria which also has bus and tram connections making it a good base to get around the city. Piroska the lady that helped me check in was friendly, helpful and spoke good English and was ready to answer any questions. Overall a nice stay in a nice area on a budget.
